DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Our enthusiastic and dedicated nursing team provides 24-hour care, seven days per week, under the direct supervision of a licensed professional supervisor. As a Nurse Aide, you will deliver person-centered support by following individualized care plans, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with personal hygiene. This includes bathing, dressing, and grooming with dignity and respect. You will also be responsible for transporting and escorting residents to outside appointments as necessary. These daily interactions provide a direct opportunity to meaningfully improve their quality of life through tailored, compassionate care.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment (8 hours per day; 40 hours per week)
Work hours will be determined from the following shifts, with a 30-minute lunch. You will work rotating days and weekends, with every other weekend off.
1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
3rd Shift: 10:30 PM to 6:00 AM
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) supports Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care. The ideal candidate will assist with treatment plans, support patients through recovery, and ensure the safe and effective implementation of therapy procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of therapeutic techniques, excellent communication skills, and compliance with state-specific licensing regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities.
Observe and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs and proper techniques.
Maintain patient records and communicate findings to the supervising physical therapist.
Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and properly set up for each session.
Support patients with mobility and functional training.
Adhere to infection control, safety, and health regulations.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide holistic and continuous care.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Licensure & Certification Requirements by State:
Physical Therapy Assistants are required to be licensed or certified in all U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. Licensure requirements typically include:
Graduation from an accredited PTA program.
Passing the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs, administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT).
Some states may require additional jurisprudence exams covering local laws and regulations.
States with notable licensing requirements or procedures include:
California: Requires passing the California Law Examination (CLE) in addition to the NPTE.
Texas: Requires a jurisprudence exam specific to Texas PT laws.

POSITION SUMMARY
· The rehabilitation aide supports the overall functioning of the outpatient rehabilitation department.
· Cleans and prepares treatment rooms before and after sessions.
· Maintains inventory supplies. Keeps stock areas clean and organized.
· Cleans and organizes work areas and disinfects equipment after treatment.
· Arranges treatment supplies to keep them in order.
· Performs clerical functions including but not limited to the following: photocopying, answering telephones, faxing, and database input.
· Creates, collects, and distributes any documents in assistance to the therapy team.
· Maintains cleaning, inventory, and equipment temperature logs.
· Performs other related job duties as assigned.
