Provides independent living skills training, direct care support, and opportunities for community integration. Services are provided in the client's residence, the Group Home, or out in the community. Duties are performed in conformance with the treatment plan and within the community at large.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Attend and participate in staff meetings that involve case conferences with the community support team and other residential staff. Attend all required meetings, staffing, seminars, and in-services.
Provide daily written observation of the client's progress in the areas described above.
Documents and monitors clients' use of medications.
Complete all required records, reports, and documentation.
Must be able to react to change and stress productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.
Provide independent living skills, personal hygiene, housekeeping and laundry skill training, and, if the client is unable to perform any of these tasks, the staff member will be responsible for performing the task.
Must be able to work as a contributing team member, while interacting with clients and co-workers with respect.
Work with clients to develop social skills which include interaction with others (e.g. roommates, coworkers, neighbors, and authority figures), appropriate use of leisure time and appropriate behavior skills. As a Direct Support Provider for CORTZ Services, LLC, we have positions available in Akron, Barberton, Stow, & Northfield. Competitive Pay-rates and is depending upon experience, and current certifications like CPR or medication. No experience, it is not a problem. Essential Duties include:
Maintaining a therapeutic relationship with the residents
Maintains order & cleanliness in the homes.
Meal Prep
Safety of the physical environment in the home
Completing all required documentation for treatment data and service provision
Transportation as the individuals need for appointments.

Must conduct all job-related activities in compliance with relevant Ohio statutes, clinic policies, and procedures.
Initiates and maintains positive relationships with individuals served, co-workers, and supervisors, and environmental demands.

Job Summary: Heritage Classical Academy is seeking a part-time Intervention Aide for the Peninsula Campus, starting in the 2025-2026 School Year. Applicants should possess a vibrant Christian testimony, demonstrating a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Applicants should also fully support HCA's Statement of Faith and be excited about the great tradition of classical Christian education. This Intervention Aide will work with students, teachers, and parents to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges, will implement targeted interventions, provide support and guidance, and collaborate with the Student Services Team to ensure student success.

Job Responsibilities:
· Works in conjunction with parents and the local public school district to identify, evaluate, and create plans to meet the needs of struggling students
· Monitors, reports, and communicates student progress and performance
· Work with Student Services Team to identify students in need of intervention through data analysis, teacher referrals, and observations
· Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based interventions for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges
· Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure consistency and support across settings
· Provide individual and small-group support to students
· Conduct progress monitoring and adjust interventions as needed
· Facilitate communication between teachers, parents, and staff to ensure cohesive support
· Maintain accurate records and data on student progress and interventions
· Supplies classroom teachers with training to meet individual student needs, as well as guidance to complete necessary forms
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, or similar field
· Experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities
· Experience with crisis intervention and/or behavioral intervention
· Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions and strategies
· Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
· Compassionate and Christ-centered approach
