As a Factory Service Center Aircraft Maintenance Technician you will work from an assigned Factory Service Center performing aircraft scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications and repairs along with a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

* Complete 100% Cirrus CBT Training (within 90 days)
* Complete 100% Cirrus University training (as directed)
* Complete 50% Core task list training (within 36 months)
* Complete 70% Cirrus & supplier Training (within 36 months)
* Comply with environmental health / safety policies and procedures
* Maintain the highest levels of professionalism in conduct and appearance while representing Cirrus Aircraft.
* Observe & maintain all requirements & criteria set forth by the Cirrus Part 145 Repair Station Manual.

* Perform mission critical repairs, troubleshooting & return to service work on AOG aircraft in the field IAW FAA regulations & all applicable technical data

* Inspect replacement aircraft parts for defects
* Replace defective parts using approved tooling

* Assist, support and participate in Factory Service Center indirect activities such as moving aircraft, shop projects, and continuous improvement projects as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate
Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance (special considerations will be given for more diverse experience)
