This technician will be qualified to support our EC135 airframe. Responsibilities Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician. Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures. Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards. Performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections, examines reciprocating engines for cracked cylinders and oil leaks, and listens to operating engine to detect and diagnose malfunctions, such as sticking or burnt valves, inspects jet engines and components for cracks, corrosion, foreign object damage, burned areas, distortions, security, warping, wear, and missing segments. Additional Skills/Abilities: Ability to repair, maintain, modify and install electronic and lower power electrical equipment with assorted hand and power tools. Basic understanding of the use of test instruments and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read manuals, schematics, and diagrams, with a basic understanding of blueprints. Ability to reason and troubleshoot problems in a logical, systematic manner. Ability to maintain and complete written records, logs, requisitions and work orders.
