Our Aeronautics Systems sector is currently seeking an Aircraft Structures Mechanic Level 3 to join our operations team, located in Clearfield, UT, working on major assembly structures such as fuselage panels and bulkheads, and structural subassemblies such as rudders, flaps, and stabilizers. Please note: Only external candidates and NG employees who are not currently aircraft structures mechanics at the Clearfield site will be considered under this requisition. Position Requirements: This position requires at least four years of experience working on aircrafts with a complete understanding of the detailed aspects of the job with practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. The candidate will receive limited supervision with few instructions for routine work and general instructions on new activities or special assignments. May assist in orienting, training, assigning and checking the work of lower-level employees. What you'll get to do: Aligning parts on jigs using templates and fixtures Performing part-fitting operations such as filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling, and reaming.
