The AME Mechanic possesses a high degree of expertise in the performance of rigging explosive link-ages/devices applicable to seats and canopy, flow checks on egress systems, replacement, fitting and rigging of aircraft canopy, canopy drive and canopy locking mechanisms and provides technical assistance, guidance and instruction to employees in the AME Mechanic classification and to others through-out the aviation team as required.
