The ideal candidate will be able to work in Willmar, MN or our Sioux Falls, SD office. Will consider a remote work arrangement. Entry level starting wage range is $19 - $23/hr, negotiable with experience.
Responsible for a variety of duties and tasks relating to servicing of loans. This is an operations position that also includes contact with the customer.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities (90%):
Board a variety of new loans to the system and fund proceeds to respective GL's
Set up automatic payments, ACH and overdraft protection
Pay PMI, taxes, insurance as needed.
Releasing collateral upon repayment etc.
Credit reporting and dispute resolution, Year-end Tax Reporting
Loan Control Balancing and other GL Reconciliations
Monitoring daily loan transactions & exceptions using various IQ reports
Timely and accurate responses to customer and employee questions and requests
Monthly SBA payment reporting and FSA/USDA semi-annual balance reporting
Servicing of participated and purchased loans
Assist tellers/RM's with loan payment applications
Correspond with sub-servicer when customer issues arise
Subservicing branch payments and new loan wires
Gather documents for audits as requested
Set up and monitor ticklers
Provide payoff statements
Assist SAT with coding and tracking of troubled loans and 1099 C Preparation
MLA and SCRA determinations, coding and tracking

We are currently seeking a Loan Disbursement Specialist to join our Construction Disbursements Team located in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Construction Disbursement Administration (CDA) group is responsible for managing roughly 200 commercial construction projects simultaneously. We work with multiple departments around the Bancorp to ensure that construction is progressing properly and all agreements within the loan documentation are being followed by all parties. We have currently switched to a new construction monitoring system and are working to streamline and improve our processes in all aspects of construction monitoring. The Salt Lake City group works closely with one another and we maintain a collaborative mentality when monitoring the construction loans assigned to us. We are looking for someone who is willing to work hard and jump in with both feet into our team and help us maintain our high standards of service within the department.
The Disbursement Specialist will:
* Review, analyze and process customer loan draws for commercial and residential construction projects, loan fund disbursements, equity draws, etc., including review of invoices, lien waivers, and budget.
* Prepare payoff quotes, credit bids, default letters and loan modifications.
* Schedule and direct pre-construction discussion with Borrower, Builder, and RM when requested.
* Administer participation loans, coordinate with participating/lead bank(s).
* Order, input, and review inspection reports.
* Updates and maintains various reports and ticklers for loan maintenance.
* Assists with and may serve as liaison with lenders, loan administration, and outside vendors.
* Monitor and may process interest rate changes.
* Review loans for past due status, insurance coverage, tickler exceptions, etc.

Requirements:
* Some experience with commercial, construction or loan servicing process and procedures, loan documentation or processing or other directly related experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: As a Loan Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing direct-to-consumer auto finance and refinance solutions. You will deliver superior customer service, respond to inquiries that are already approved for the refinance, and offer additional finance and coverage options to enhance the customer experience.
You'll be structuring your loans and pitching optional coverages to the borrowers. You will also manage the loan through the different steps to ensure funding. Your duties include preparing loans for the contracting process, calling borrowers to review electronic documents and title documents, and ensuring all documents are signed and tracked. You'll handle various statuses of the loan, ensuring all steps are followed and errors are fixed promptly.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
Six (6) figure earning potential with hourly/salary plus uncapped commissions. Average Loan Specialists are pacing at $70-80k per year with top performers exceeding $150k+ per year, which is uncapped and has no ceiling
This position starts as an hourly based position ($17.31-$18.81 depending on geographic location) and includes overtime pay along with a higher per deal commission plan for the first three full months to allow for ramp up time with great earning potential during your learning period
On the first day of the fourth full month Loan Specialists move to salary on the standard commission structure based on a tiered system for overall revenue and product sales
On top of uncapped commissions, the better you perform the more leads you are provided, greatly increasing your earning potential

We are currently seeking a Loan Disbursement Specialist to join our Construction Disbursements Team located in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Construction Disbursement Administration (CDA) group is responsible for managing roughly 200 commercial construction projects simultaneously. We work with multiple departments around the Bancorp to ensure that construction is progressing properly and all agreements within the loan documentation are being followed by all parties. We have currently switched to a new construction monitoring system and are working to streamline and improve our processes in all aspects of construction monitoring. Schedule and direct pre-construction discussion with Borrower, Builder, and RM when requested.
Administer participation loans, coordinate with participating/lead bank(s).
Order, input, and review inspection reports.
Updates and maintains various reports and ticklers for loan maintenance.

Monitor and may process interest rate changes.
