Vessel Tankerman are responsible for conducting safe cargo transfers including but not limited to safe loading and unloading of liquid tank barges for contract customers. Incumbents in this position must possess and maintain USCG licensing. In addition, vessel tankerman perform tasks associated with building and breaking tow, as well as vessel cleanliness and maintenance. Vessel Tankerman perform tasks in all weather conditions both outside and in the confines of the vessel while navigating the western rivers.
