Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a LV Switchgear Wiring Technician located in Dallas, Texas.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the LV Switchgear Wiring Technician role is responsible for prepping wiring subassemblies for our switchgear projects.
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
What a typical day looks like:
Read and interpret work orders, manufacturing procedures, work instructions, wiring diagrams, and prints to manufacture wiring subassemblies for relay and control panels
Crimp, strip, cut, pull, and bundle wiring according to plans
Ensure wiring is properly labeled and marked
Connect cut wires to components, and routing the wire and cables in an orderly fashion
Ensure quality workmanship of all wires and components
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area
Complete other duties as assigned
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of experience in wiring or installing electrical components OR completion of a technical vocational program
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work accurately
Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management
Reading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams
Basic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements
Basic understanding of tools (ex. Tape measure, impact drill, wire crimpers, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing, bending, kneeling, and performing repetitive tasks.
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time.
Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.
Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor

Conduct final assembly, functionality testing, hi pot testing and final calibration.
Prepare point-to-point wiring according to wire run-list and diagram in large electrical panels.
Integrate sub-assemblies, electrical panels, chassis, power supplies and connecting cables.
Inspect and calibrate final products as needed
Assemble products per assembly process specifications.
Performed processes utilizing tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Strong ability to assemble, disassemble and repair.
Lead and manage the work of teams groups ranging from 2-8 people.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED with experience, prefer technical school.
Strong attention to detail, focus, and highest standards for quality.
Experience working effectively with customers.
PC hardware, software installation and configuration experience.

Responsibilities
Follow work instructions / training documents specific to each assembly, inspection, and packaging operations.
Obtain, read, and use appropriate blueprints for product.
Verify all parts and components match order and part numbers for assembly.
Set up assembly and/or packaging machinery per specific work instructions and training documents.
Perform ring washing operations per specific work instructions and training documents (if applicable).
Perform assembly of bearings per specific work instructions and training documents.
Perform quality inspections per work instructions and training documents.
Perform packaging operations for bearing assemblies per work instructions and training documents.
Laser mark bearings per training document.
Complete all required documentation.
Customer Focus - Apply clear understanding of customer (internal and external) technical requirements for each order. Assure conformance of all products and assemblies to requirements.
Team Participation - Collaborate with a variety of plant teams focused on continuous improvement. Occasionally serve as facilitator of such teams. Regularly rotate to other tasks and assist team members in meeting Team Metrics.
Training - Continuously develop and upgrade training materials used to train other Assemblers, and occasionally assist in training. Requires continuous self-development of skills and business knowledge and the exercise of both.
Safety - Requires daily participation in individual and team safety responsibilities such as departmental inspections, maintaining good housekeeping, and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Continuous Improvement - Generate and implement ideas for quality improvements and cost savings.
This position may require access to United States export controlled technical data ("CTD") and hardware under the Departments of US State (ITAR) and/or Commerce (EAR). Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for a Aircraft Structural Assembler to join our growing team.
There is a $2 shift differential for all hours worked on the swing and $3 for weekend day shift.
This position is located on-site in Hamillton, Washington State.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Aircraft Structural Assembler is responsible for performing complex final assembly for production parts and flyaway composite parts, specifically. Tasks include final fit up, finishing work, drill and tap, final assembly, and bonding of parts.
The following essential job functions are performed as an Aircraft Structural Assembler:
Assemble and fit aircraft structural parts and subassemblies
Perform test fit and gap checks with high tolerances
Perform structural adhesive bonding preparation per product specifications and compliance programs
Align, fit, assemble, connect, or install system components, using jigs, fixtures, measuring instruments, hand tools, or power tools
Adjust, repair, rework, or replace parts and assemblies
Layout and mark reference points
Read and understand blueprints, isometric drawings and work orders
Receive and carry out directions from designated supervisors, production leads, and cell managers
Must understand and comply with safety and 5S
Must understand and comply with AS9100 and Nadcap Practices and Procedures as applicable
Must be able to read, understand and execute work orders to exacting specifications
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly, FOD free condition
Performs on the job training for project certifications, AS9100, Nadcap training and other training as required
Must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines. Shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors
Must be at work on time and maintain good attendance. This is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job
Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Professional experience in complex assembly and aircraft frame assembly/maintenance
Relevant leadership or management experience preferred
High School diploma or GED required, college level or trade school education preferred
One or more years of experience in related field may be substituted for education
Must have high attention to detail and be highly organized
Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Wage range for this role is between $20 - $45 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities
