At start of shift check work orders, materials and supplies available for the scheduled work. Dock lock trailers and manually place dock plate on trailers as required. Unload trailers of incoming materials and supplies with a forklift, walkie-rider or pallet jack. Unload trailers of floor loaded cases by hand (10-30 lbs/ up to 3000 cases) onto pallets as instructed. Perform count check of incoming items and verify against the bill of laden. Perform damage control checks on items received and contact supervisor about removing items according to company policy. Arrange pallets and cases of stock items and transport to the staging area with a forklift, walkie-rider or pallet jack as needed. Re-stack items on pallets, inspect packaging and secure as needed.
