Biogas Field Service Technicians are responsible for performing activities associated with the safe and efficient operations of electrical and mechanical systems at their assigned site(s). Responsibilities will include performing a variety of skilled operational and maintenance tasks throughout the day which includes interfacing with the SCADA systems, running analytical tests, and performing the inspection, repair, testing, adjustment, installation, and removal/replacement of various types of electrical and mechanical systems. Primary Responsibilities: Operate and maintain biogas plants, including anaerobic dairy manure digesters, gas upgrading equipment, and ancillary equipment such as compressors, pumps, motors, valves, and instrumentation. Perform planned routine maintenance and unplanned repairs on above equipment. Documentation of work completed in logs, and drawings for all designated equipment. Conduct instrument calibration as scheduled/required. Troubleshoot and diagnose plant operation and equipment problems.
