Qualifications: Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience in health or nursing informatics, electronic clinical quality measurement, electronic health record (EHR) systems, or electronic health data.
Experience working in a contract research or similar project-based environment.
Hands-on experience with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), Clinical Quality Language (CQL), Quality Data Model (QDM), and electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) tools, including the Measure Authoring Development Integrated Environment (MADiE), Value Set Authority Center (VSAC), and the Measure Management System (MMS) Blueprint.
Proven experience developing, validating, and testing electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs), with a strong understanding of healthcare workflows and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Experience collaborating with clinicians, researchers, and technical teams to interpret measure requirements and testing results.
Knowledge of Consensus-Based Entity (CBE) requirements and federal rulemaking processes.
Skills

What We're Looking For
Strong Technical Background

The 2nd Assistant Engineer shall assist as directed in the operation and maintenance of the ship service generator engines and controls, engine safety systems, etc. The 2nd Assistant Engineer shall be a qualified watch stander and be capable of leading and participating in an engineering watch as necessary and directed when the vessel is underway as well as while the vessel is in port.
Instruction and Other - Serves as a mentor to engineering cadets in the engine license program to the extent that it does not interfere with the primary duties of the operation and maintenance of the equipment and systems enumerated above. Assists in the training and development of cadets aboard the training ship. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of Linux-based development and deployment.
Experience with simulation environments (Gazebo, Webots, or similar).
Familiarity with software development best practices (version control, CI/CD, testing frameworks).
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in softwareengineering for robotics, automation, or embedded systems.
Experience with ROS, middleware communication (e.g., DDS, ZeroMQ, MQTT), and distributed systems.
Experience with underwater robotics or marine autonomy.
Familiarity with network protocols, edge computing, and embedded systems.
Knowledge of hardware interfaces such as CAN, serial, and Ethernet.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly to remain in a stationary position. The employee will be required to operate a computer and will consistently use other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. The person in this position needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. as necessary.
The employee must possess the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
The employee must possess the ability to observe details at close range.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment and in industrial environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to 10%.
The performance of this position may also occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas, which may require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.
