Position Summary:
Center For Family Services is seeking a Full Time Overnight Residential Counselor for our Juntos Program located in Bridgewater, Somerset County, NJ. Juntos provides important services to unaccompanied minor children who immigrated into the United States. Services include; temporary shelter and support with family unification and home study and post release services. Family Reunification is the Juntos programs primary goal. The Overnight Residential Counselor will be responsible for assisting youth with their daily life skills, education, and chores in the program and providing a direct level of support and supervision. This is an overnight position, shift is 12am - 8am, may work other shifts as needed. Bilingual/Multilingual preferred but not required.
Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to;
Ensures that program structure is consistent with stated goals and objectives and that a Nurtured Heart, trauma-informed program is followed.
Reports to and serves on the treatment team with Therapists and other designated staff.
Provides life skills education.
Coordinates recreation and physical education activities scheduled during their shift.
Ensures that daily living needs of youth are met through delegation of responsibilities to residential counseling staff.
Coordinates appointments with medical consultants, ensures all over-the-counter and prescription supplies and medication is on hand and correctly administered.
Coordinates other appointments (i.e. court appearances) with Therapists and Periodic Transport staff.
Works closely with teachers and other residential staff in carrying out and following through on education and jobs related goals.
Engages in caring supervision and structure for youth in residence which is consistent with stated goals and objectives, Day, Evening and Weekends.
Instructs, guides, and counsels youth informally throughout their interactions in day to day activities.
Provides life skills education and goal-setting groups
Co-leads recreation and physical education activities scheduled during shift.
Provides one-to-one assistance and engages youth.
Provides transportation to and from appointments.
Substitutes in the event of Resident counselor absence.
Provides direct level of supervision to youth in the program and on activity outage.
Ensures that youth complete their goals as set forth in their treatment plans.

Assists youth in their daily life skills, education, and chores in the program.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent with a minimum of 1 year experience in the child welfare field, working with children and/or adolescents in a social service setting
1 - 3 years experience working with the program population or relevant direct service delivery in a residential setting,

Guardian Scholars aims to equip former foster youth with essential resources, help them graduate high school and enroll in college, training programs, or directly into a career, support them on their journey through school or into a career, and provide tools to successfully embark on a career path. Guardian Scholars provides current and former foster youth with a partial college scholarship, mentoring, and individual support with the goal to increase their chance of academic success, graduation, employment, and ability to become a contributing member of society.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Guardian Scholars Supervisor, support a caseload of approximately 25-35 high need youth requiring daily driving to meet youth where they are in the community.
Implement evaluation and assessment tools to ensure programmatic data and outcomes can be collected and analyzed for outcome management.
Support youth trainings and workshops, as needed.
Ensure Salesforce is up to date with accurate files, notes, and documentation. Salesforce must be updated daily per phone calls, emails, and visits.
Conduct monthly in-person meetings with youth to address challenges, track progress, and provide support, supplemented by additional check-ins via phone, text, or email as needed.
This position requires regular evening and weekend hours to meet participant needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Lived experience in the foster care system preferred.

FEC offerings are available to everyone, regardless of current or past child welfare involvement.
The goal of the Family Enrichment Center (FEC) is to enhance child and family well‑being by providing access and support to enable the strengthening of family protective factors inherent in its residents and community by building mutual community connections, capacity, and resilience.
In partnership with FEC staff, families will drive the planning, development, and sustainable co‑ownership of the centers. Families who participate in the FEC programming will be encouraged to share their expertise by volunteering at the center and given meaningful opportunities to engage with neighbors and peers. The goal of the FEC is to strengthen families' protective factors and build community connections, capacity, and resilience.
Position Summary
The Family Advocate is responsible for contributing to the day‑to‑day operation of the FEC including building connections with other staff, residents, and community partners; co‑designing and delivering relevant programming and activities (offerings); providing advocacy and making referrals for participants; and creating a warm and inviting gathering place for families and individuals using the protective factors model to support community resilience.
Responsibilities
Coordinate meetings, provide support, and collaborate with a team of local parents, subject experts, and other residents to deliver monthly events and activities (offerings) held at the FEC.
Foster a culture of respect built on the belief that families and communities possess the inherent strengths and knowledge needed to succeed given the right access to opportunities and support.
Provide advocacy, outreach, and referrals to connect participants to service providers and other programs that have resources to offer.
Engage groups of local community members of all ages and guide them through the co‑designed activities and programming of the FEC.

Care for and attend to the physical space of the FEC program to ensure it is safe, welcoming, organized, and appealing to participants and community members.

Effectively utilize tracking and reporting mechanisms and accurately enter data and run reports in the FEC website and other agency databases as needed to obtain program‑level data, compiling statistical or written reports for agency and external stakeholders.
Manage the FEC website to communicate with and engage members.
Use Appreciative Inquiry and other strength‑based tools to engage community members in co‑designing offerings.
Create monthly calendars, website content, and other outreach tools to promote and document offerings.
Participate and engage with the FEC team in learning collaboratives facilitated by ACS with other FEC teams from across the city.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree and three (3) years of professional experience; or a high school diploma and five (5) years of professional experience in community-driven programs working directly with children, youth, and families.
Reside in or near the FEC community, or reside close enough to arrive promptly, in the event of an emergency.
Bi‑Lingual either /Mandarin &/or Cantonese is required.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to warmly connect with and engage children, youth, and adults individually and in groups.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiar with the community and its assets and resources, such as other programs, services, supports, local civic groups, and community leaders.

Clinical Trainee Qualifications:
* Has completed an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional and who is in compliance with the requirements of the applicable health-related licensing board, including requirements for supervised practice.
Licensed Therapist Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related field plus a Minnesota license as an LICSW, LMFT, LP, or LPCC required

Responsibilities:
Working with the team to develop and implement an ISP that meets the requirements of OPWDD for each participant in their service delivery area.
The DHS will also assist in the residential home and transport to one of the Lifelong Learning Centers located in either Pleasant Valley, Poughkeepsie, or Saugerties.
The Day Hab Specialist will attend to the educational, physical, social, and emotional needs of residents, while assisting the team with the daily programming, data collection, supervision and safety of residents in an assigned service delivery area
The Day Hab Specialist will work with all Anderson Center for Autism staff to ensure quality resident services are provided and supported at all times.

Statement of the Job
The Early Head Start (EHS) Family Worker is responsible for the programs' parent involvement. Schedule and facilitate the Entrance and Exit Meeting with all youths.

The Behavioral Health Therapist provides strengths-based and solution-focused therapeutic services to clients at Broward Partnership (BP) with the end goal of supporting clients and ultimately fostering stable housing situations. The Behavioral Health Therapist will assess and treat clients by completing a biopsychosocial assessment, collaboratively developing a treatment plan, conducting treatment plan reviews, providing individual, family, and group therapy, developing accurate and timeline clinical documentation and progress notes, data collection, and participating in Agency and community activities.
II. Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities:
1. Interviews clients and completes a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment to evaluate substance abuse, mental health, and co-occurring disorders according to DCF standards (65D30.004 items "a through m") within 72 hours of the client's placement into crisis shelter.
2. Develops an individualized, collaborative treatment plan in partnership with the client within 7 business days of referral, including goals, measurable objectives to be achieved by the client, the tasks involved in achieving those objectives, the type and frequency of services, and the expected dates of completion.
3. Completes and utilizes the Level of Care Utilization System (LOCUS) criteria assessment to aid in the identification of the appropriate level of care for the clients.
4. Encourages clients to express their feelings and discuss what is happening in their lives and help them to develop insight into themselves and their relationships. Guides clients in the development of skills and strategies for dealing with their problems.
5. Completes an individualized treatment plan review within 30 calendar days of the initial treatment plan in partnership with client.
6. Schedules and conducts individual, family, and group counseling sessions, psycho- educational intervention groups, orientations, and other clinical interventions as needed.
7. Counsels clients in crisis, assessing for a safety plan, while de-escalating the crisis.
8. Provides advanced services for the Behavioral Health department including assisting the other therapists, maintaining smooth functioning of the department, providing case consultation as needed to all departments, sharing specialized knowledge regarding clinical interventions, and modeling professional conduct.
9. Spends at least 65% of time face-to-face providing direct contact services.
10. Recognizes the signs of abuse and neglect and reports to appropriate staff or state agency as necessary.
11. Communicates and coordinates treatment with multidisciplinary team members.
12. Maintains timely and accurate progress notes and clinical documentation in required Agency and other databases.
13. Works with other community agencies and resources when necessary.
14. Participates in professional community meetings and seminars to network and enhance professional growth.
15. Completes outcome data collection and submits to supervisor in a timely manner.
16. Supports university interns to enhance the students' clinical practicum.
