The Commodities Team Member plays a crucial role in supporting our purpose of being our customers' competitive advantage by responding to customer orders efficiently and accurately. The Commodities Team Member works independently to ensure the delivery, receipt and coordination of customer orders. To fill orders and receive inventory, this person will use a forklift or manually lift pipe from warehouse shelves or cuts wire to customer specifications, picks conduit, receives commodity items, and unloads trucks. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Pick and prepare customer pipe and wire in an efficient and accurate manner based on department procedures
Receive and unload commodities from delivery trucks
Utilize forklift equipment to properly locate inventory throughout warehouse
Prepares product for delivery to customers and/or other branch locations by palletizing, banding, labeling and staging of material
Properly secure, ship and load material for customer delivery
Accurately maintain commodities inventory, including reporting of inventory discrepancies
Daily maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of equipment and tools
Adhere to all company safety policies and initiatives
Assist in maintaining distribution center cleanliness and order
Cross-train in other departments as needed

Established in 1989, Cape May National Wildlife Refuge provides critical habitat to a wide variety of migratory birds and other wildlife. Its value for the protection of migratory birds and their habitat will continue to grow as wildlife habitat along the Jersey Shore is developed into roads, shopping centers and housing developments.

Position Overview: During this term, the ACE member will provide support and assistance under the guidance and direction of FWS staff in the accomplishment of wildlife surveys, invasive plant management, and GPS/GIS projects. The member will provide support and assistance under the guidance and direction of FWS staff to:
* Assist with various wildlife surveys, such as for shorebirds and horseshoe crabs
* Control invasive plant species including, searching for new infestations (Early Detection Rapid Response)
* Physical removal of invasive plants including hand pulling or with tools (not including chainsaws)
* Application of General Use Pesticides
* Learn the fundamentals of a biology program on a national wildlife refuge
* Assist with GPS and GIS mapping projects
The mission of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) is "Working with others to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, plants, and their habitats the the continuing benefit of the American People". The ACE Members will work closely with the Refuge biology and management staff to perform on-the-ground conservation work to improve wildlife habitat, and monitor the populations of species of management concern important to the local ecosystem. Day to day operations will often be conducted in a field environment where the ACE Member will need to be able to walk over uneven ground while carrying field equipment. In this field environment, ACE Members may be exposed to hot and humid weather, biting insects, and poisonous plants (i.e., poison ivy). These hazards can be mitigated, but will not be completely avoidable. However, Members will gain first hand experience implementing habitat management actions and learn how and the work the Members perform will be instrumental in allowing the Refuge to meet its goals and fulfill the mission of the Service.
This individual placement is meant to facilitate professional development and promotes exposure to land management agencies and networking with professionals. This could include gaining experience in different conservation fields and shadowing different work groups.
Schedule: Duties will primarily be carried out Mon-Fri, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Bi-weekly totals should not exceed 80 hours. A flexible work schedule may be required, which could involve work performed outside of normal work hours including on weekends and/or holidays, and early mornings and/or late evenings. Time off may be granted and requests should be directed to ACE and the FWS for approval.
Position Benefits
Living Allowance: The ACE Member is expected to contribute approximately 40 hours/week and will receive a living allowance of $500/week to offset the costs of food and incidental expenses, dispersed bi-weekly.
Public Land Corps Hiring Authority: Members serving under this agreement may be eligible for a federal hiring authority upon completion of their term of service and 640 hours of service. If the duration of a PLC-eligible term is not long enough for Members to accrue 640 hours of service (~16 weeks), the total hours served at the completion of the term may be eligible to be combined with hours accrued from another PLC-eligible term to meet the 640 hours requirement. PLC projects also include specific eligibility requirements such as age and citizenship. Housing: ACE members will be accommodated in provided housing at no cost for the duration of the term.
Provided Training/Orientation: ACE members will receive position specific training and an orientation outlining ACE policies and procedures, clear guidance on prohibited activities, and networks for support. Specific training may include Defensive Driver training, computer security training and on the job training in plant identification, bird identification, and coastal ecology.

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), typically provided by the FWS and/or ACE, will be mandatory for any activity that requires it. Strict adherence to FWS and ACE equipment training, certification and safety protocols is required.

Location Details/Description: Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge Complex; Chatham, MA
The refuge provides important resting, nesting and feeding habitat for migratory birds, including the federally protected piping plover, roseate tern, and red knot. At least 25 species of seabird, shorebird, waterfowl, and colonial waterbird nest on three offshore islands. The refuge also supports the largest nesting colony of common terns on the Atlantic seaboard, exceeding 19,000 pairs. Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge's mission is to protect the habitats critical to migratory birds, spawning horseshoe crabs, and other wildlife while affording the public an opportunity to experience this unique wilderness refuge. Position Overview: During this term, the ACE member will contribute to management and monitoring of mammalian and avian predators (coyotes, rats, herons, etc.) that are impacting high priority nesting birds at Monomoy NWR. The member will provide support and assistance under the guidance and direction of FWS staff to:
* During the non-field season months (generally November - March):
* spend 50% of time entering and summarizing data related to predator impacts from previous years.
* spend 50% of time developing prioritization and management strategies for the upcoming years, including compiling research, expert opinions, etc.
* During the field season months (generally March - October, but rat work may occur year round)
* spend 40% of time monitoring predator impacts to high priority bird species
* spend 40% of time conducting predator management trials, with a likely emphasis on rats
* spend 20% of time assisting with other high priority biological projects including posting areas closed to the public, wading bird surveys, seal surveys, invasive species mapping and control, interacting with the public, entering data, maintaining facilities, and conducting routine office work.
* This position requires living on a remote island, in either a lighthouse keepers house (electricity and running water may be available) or a field camp (no electricity or running water) from April - September.
This individual placement is meant to facilitate professional development and promotes exposure to land management agencies and networking with professionals. This could include gaining experience in different conservation fields and shadowing different work groups.
Schedule: Duties will primarily be carried out between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm, typically 5 days/week (5-8s). Bi-weekly totals typically will not exceed 80 hours. A flexible work schedule is required, which will involve work performed outside of normal work hours including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and/or holidays. Time off may be granted and requests should be directed to ACE and the FWS for approval.
Position Benefits
Living Allowance: The ACE Member is expected to contribute approximately 40 hours/week and will receive a living allowance of $750/week to offset the costs of food and incidental expenses, dispersed bi-weekly.
Public Land Corps Hiring Authority: Members serving under this agreement may be eligible for a federal hiring authority upon completion of their term of service and 640 hours of service. If the duration of a PLC-eligible term is not long enough for Members to accrue 640 hours of service (~16 weeks), the total hours served at the completion of the term may be eligible to be combined with hours accrued from another PLC-eligible term to meet the 640 hours requirement. PLC projects also include specific eligibility requirements such as age and citizenship. Housing: ACE members will be accommodated in provided housing at no cost for the duration of the term.

Provided Training/Orientation: ACE members will receive position specific training and an orientation outlining ACE policies and procedures, clear guidance on prohibited activities, and networks for support.

Maintain current knowledge of, and contact with, community agencies to make referrals appropriately. Documents services in a timely fashion meeting all standards and expectations per MCHHS policies.
* Provide follow up case management within 72 hours to individuals who were engaged in the community by the Rapid Engagement Assessment and Community Health (REACH) Team.
* Provide back up to the Behavioral Health Crisis Center as needed, to include answering phones by logging into TouchPoint and completing tasks as assigned. Provide guidance by telephone or in-person to individuals and/or their families or concerned others. Intervene with both children and adults.
* Attend all required Mobile Crisis and Marion County Health and Human Services Trainings.
* Provide services in a variety of settings-including the office, hospitals, carceral facilities, and in the community where the individual is located-while adhering to the Mobile Crisis Intervention Services training schedule as require by all staff. Driving is required.
* Perform other job duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Response Level 2: In the event of an emergency, employee makes a reasonable effort to report to work. Employee may be required to perform duties outside of their regularly assigned duties. Employee may be requested to work an extended or flexible schedule. * Three years relevant work experience in a behavioral health services field; OR
