Incumbent must obtain and maintain USDA-AMS Fruit and Vegetable Inspection Authorization License pursuant to 7 CFR, Part 51 and 107 of the Federal Agricultural Marketing Act. 20% - Collection of representative samples. 50% - Analysis of samples and determination of grade from the samples collected. 30% - Preparation and issuance of official inspection certificates. Salary Information The Produce Inspector classification is in schedule/ range 05-11. Pay will be $21.42 per hour For current and eligible former State employees, compensation will be set in accordance with the State Compensation Plan effective at the time of hire.
