Job Description:
In this role, you will be working with clients, prospects, and internal technical teams to position our products and services competitively with a focus on technical requirements, implementation and deployment planning to achieve solution value. Focus is on advancing our products and services in new and existing clients to achieve business goals. This includes documentation gaps and solving technical obstacles or inhibitors to delivering competitive value.
* Supporting the Sales team to meet sales objectives for Solventum Health Information System solutions in the United States and as assigned globally.
* Transitioning a lead into a fully developed opportunity, including creating detailed Statements of Work and other sales materials that become part of the contractual agreement with the end customer.
* Managing the presales and RFP processes including writing and compiling commercial responses and coordination of RFP activities and response documents. Engaging with the customer by creating and delivering product demonstrations, including product overviews and customer evaluations.
* Creating compelling commercial and technical documentation that illustrates the Solventum value proposition and competitive advantages, outlines the proposed solution and business benefits to the customer, the technical deployment and sustainment needs of the solution including the project implementation plan. Completing client reviews related to AI, Security, and project intake to support sales or client relationship needs.
* Identifying and communicating gaps in the product portfolio to the product development teams to satisfy local market requirements to include engaging with the product, implementation and engineering teams throughout the product life cycle to articulate customer requirements; delivering training on solutions and providing product knowledge support to internal and external stakeholders; supporting marketing in the development of customer case studies and technical white papers.
Onboarding Requirement: To improve the onboarding experience, you will have an opportunity to meet with your manager and other new employees as part of the Solventum new employee orientation. As a result, new employees hired for this position will be required to travel to a designated company location for on-site onboarding during their initial days of employment. As an Application Engineer with the E2METRIX PFAS Solutions team, you will be assisting with the process design, sales support, estimating, and onsite piloting of PFAS water treatment equipment.

What is the role?
Work with Product Managers and Engineering to support sales by preparing quotes and responding to client RFPs, requiring in-depth product and process knowledge for sizing and pricing.
Provide process support and technical process expertise to E2METRIX lab staff during bench-scale studies using PFAS technology. Responsibilities may include travel to lab sites, experiment design, sampling, data analysis, and report preparation support.
Offer process support and specialized expertise to E2METRIX field personnel throughout onsite pilot initiatives. Responsibilities may include traveling to multiple locations, facilitating operational activities, experiment design, sampling, data analysis, preparing technical reports, and providing expert guidance and direction-both to colleagues and clients-in the operation and troubleshooting of PFAS pilot treatment systems as necessary.
Support the ongoing upkeep and use of appropriate design methods, sizing, and costing programs (OPEX and CAPEX) for E2METRIX PFAS solution offering including electro-oxidation for PFAS destruction, ozone foam fractionation, and media-based PFAS removal solutions.
Read and comprehend PFDs, P&ID's, and standard engineering drawings and verify their accuracy.
Review calculations, models, layouts, detailed drawings, specifications, and instructions created by drafters/designers and other engineers for accuracy and consistency.
