About the role:
As a key member of the product team at Aptos, you will play a pivotal role in building industry-leading Web applications and tools that empower developers in the Web3 ecosystem. You'll work on a wide range of projects designed to enhance consumer-facing experiences, including decentralized applications for trading and novel experiences, wallets, SDKs, APIs, standards, and protocols.

What You'll Be Doing:
Leading initiatives to design, build, and optimize Web3 products and applications for Aptos
Developing new features and integrations to enhance existing experiences
Maintaining and improving current platforms and web interfaces
Writing clean, performant, and well-tested code

We're looking for:
5+ years of experience building and shipping user-facing products
Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React

The base salary range for this full-time position is $220-$250k. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and typical maximum target for new hire salaries for the position of a candidate based in the Bay Area at any level. We do hire exceptionally talented professionals with decades of experience in their field. As such, our range may be higher than what is displayed. Our base salary ranges are determined by experience and location, and we hire at all levels for multiple roles. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills demonstrated during the interviews, working experience, and relevant education or training. Receive and unload incoming shipments, direct merchandise to the appropriate area. Check against bills of lading and packing slips.
Take inventory of merchandise, check quantity and maintain records of goods received; reject damaged, excess or misdirected goods
Identify, separate, label and palletize merchandise, label pallets, process documents, and relocate merchandise to appropriate destinations. Re-label merchandise if necessary.
Receive and process UPS inbound shipments and supply orders. Pick store supply and UPS orders and prepare for shipment.
Perform cycle counts, investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Move merchandise by hand, hand truck or forklift equipment to maintain continuous flow.
Move merchandise to staging area, verify SKU and quantity check for damage, and verify that order is complete and process documents.
Verify merchandise order is accurate and complete, stack and wrap merchandise, load in trailer and process documents.
Ensure job assignments are completed accurately and free of damage. Performance will be evaluated through periodic, random audits, and measured against the company accuracy standards.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as assigned.
Conduct job duties in a manner that promotes safety. Complies with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
Operate all equipment in a safe manner. Daily, inspect equipment before use. Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Required Qualifications
Experience
: 0-2 years of experience in a distribution center. This is an entry-level position in the distribution center.
Education

What you'll work on:
* Build automation systems that handle complex insurance servicing tasks end-to-end (policy endorsements, cancellations, document uploads, reinstatements) or reduce policy cancellations, improve renewals, and ensure users always have the best coverage.
* Fast sprint cycles: ship new automations in 1-2 weeks on average.
* Compose backend business logic that drives automation while respecting complex insurance carrier rules.
* Design backend pipelines that sync customer policy data, deliver timely alerts, and power seamless re-shopping experiences.
* Optimize and scale our internal tools (think: in-house DocuSign for servicing) to reduce agent intervention to nearly zero.
* Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering ops to anticipate churn and improve customer retention.
* Work asynchronously across time zones, with minimal meetings but strong collaboration through Asana and Slack.
* Continuously improve our backend systems, APIs, and microservice architecture.

We are seeking exceptional interns to join us in building a next-generation ML-based ad-serving platform to satisfy the various needs of our customers. As an intern, you can expect to be a full member of the team you join and will be treated as a junior engineer with the same expectations, project opportunities and responsibilities. Some examples of past intern projects are:
Adding features to our high-performance, low-latency backend servers
Enhancing our system in various aspects including but not limited to scalability, availability, and performance.
Developing novel improvements to pricing theory and/or algorithms
Designing / planning / shipping new features in collaboration with other engineers, PMs and UI Designers.
Developing internal tools to enhance developer productivity and system efficiency.
Turning unstructured logs, messages, and events into structured data that can be utilized for analytics, ML, and more.
Designing and implementing the backend data pipelines for manipulating and managing big data.
Developing APIs to deliver and / or demonstrate the results of advertising campaigns to customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Able and willing to work from our Seattle, WA or Redwood City, CA office.
Must be able to work full-time (40-hours per week) for 12-weeks during the summer of 2026 (May - September).
Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD program in Computer Science, or a related technical field during the internship.
Candidates pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree must be graduating and obtaining their degree by June of 2027.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong background in data structures and algorithms.
Strong coding and problem solving skills.
Familiar with distributed systems and/or databases.
Fluent with at least one programming language for server development like C/C++, Java, Go, Rust.
