Position Summary:
The Therapist I provides individual, group and group therapy sessions for clients in an Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization mental health facility. Therapists assess the therapeutic needs of clients, develop appropriate treatment plans, and facilitate group, family and individual therapy sessions. Position collaborates with clients, team members, external clinical partners and family members, as appropriate, to coordinate care throughout the treatment process.
Essential Responsibilities:
Facilitates group, family and individual therapy sessions in accordance with the clinical program schedule.
Completes psychosocial evaluations, treatment plans, contact logs, discharge plans and other reports in compliance with State, accrediting bodies, quality guidelines and payor source guidelines.
Completes all necessary documentation within prescribed format and timelines.
Ensures documentation reflects ongoing assessments of client's clinical presentation and behaviors.
Facilitates specialized groups as assigned based on education, training, and experience; supervises and/or co-leads groups with clinical interns, when appropriate.
Selects appropriate interventions to meet the clinical needs of individual clients.
Maintains therapeutic relationships with clients using praise and other reinforcers to encourage appropriate behaviors and attitudes.
Sets limits and holds boundaries in a kind and firm manner.
Conducts effective verbal crisis intervention and de-escalation involving other team members, as needed.
Collaborates with an interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate client care from admission through discharge.
Attends clinical, consultation, and operations meetings; serves as a clinical advocate for assigned cases.
Communicates client progress with the referral sources, families, parents and/or guardians, as appropriate.
Addresses clients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in a welcoming and respectful manner.
Responds to clients and families with empathy and positive professional skills.
What We Are Seeking:
Position requires a master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling or psychology. Must hold a (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LP, LLPC, or LLP) , in good standing, within the state of Michigan. Requires minimum of 2 years' of experience working with clients with a primary mental health diagnosis.
Other Requirements:
Requires clearance of TB test, criminal background check clearance, and any other mandatory state/federal requirements.
Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to complete within 30 days of start date.

Certified Hand Therapist
to join our physical therapy team. This role will work closely with physical and occupational therapists, orthopedic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide specialized, evidence-based therapy for patients with upper extremity conditions. This role is integral to our commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate and treat patients with injuries or conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and clinical findings.
Fabricate custom orthoses and splints for post-operative and non-operative management.
Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary providers in clinic to coordinate patient care and optimize recovery
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and ergonomic practices.
Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with practice standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain current knowledge of best practices in hand therapy and rehabilitation.
Assist in mentoring junior therapists or students, if applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS

Skills & Competencies:
Proficient in orthosis fabrication and post-operative protocols; strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills; commitment to ongoing professional development and collaborative care; prior experience in an orthopedic or outpatient rehabilitation setting; familiarity with EMR systems; experience with performance improvement or quality initiatives in rehab care.

Education & Experience:
Certification by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC) as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT); degree from a baccalaureate/university program in occupational or physical therapy approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association or American Physical Therapy Association required; Current License to practice as an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist in the state of Michigan; CPR/BLS certification required. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation preferred.

We are looking for a Children's Clinician to support our children's outpatient therapy program to provide clinical assessment, individual, family, and group therapy, treatment, crisis planning, and support services to children and families in the clinic and community settings. Children's outpatient therapy strengthens family relationships to improve functioning at home, school, and in the community. The program provides services that are member-directed, goal-oriented, and family-focused.

Compensation Range:
The starting pay for this position is $47,600 - $56,000 for limited licensed candidates, and $51,850 - $61,000 annual salary for fully licensed candidates, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.

Use evidence-based practices to provide individual, family, and group therapy
Conduct face-to-face comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
Formulate and coordinate person-centered treatment plans
Collaborate and participates with treatment team, community partners, and other natural supports as identified by the family
Assist families with referral, linking, and coordination to community resources, and provide education on how to access and utilize supports independently.
Assist families with accessing and utilizing community supports
Act as liaison between the child/family and their natural support system, primary care physicians, and other community agencies identified by the family
Coordinate care with families, schools, DHHS/foster care, and other community agencies.
Initiate referrals for psychiatric evaluations when deemed clinically appropriate
Provide case management support for children and families as needed
Participate in case conferences and staff meetings
Utilize clinical supervision, respond to directives, and implement feedback.
Prepare reports for other agencies, DHHS, courts, schools, etc. as needed
Obtain and maintain CAFAS rater-reliability and conduct quarterly CAFAS assessments
Utilize a trauma-informed approach to services
Complete all required documentation completely, accurately, and in accordance with CNS
policy
Meet direct service productivity and documentation standards per agency and program expectations
Ensure that the CNS Healthcare standards of service are applied to interactions with individuals served, guests, and staff.
Participate in and promote departmental and agency quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain knowledge and compliance with established policies and procedures, corporate compliance program, code of ethics, applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, HIPAA standards, and other regulatory programs.

Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy
State licensure: Limited-Licensed Master's Social Worker (LLMSW), Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW), Limited-Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Limited-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LLMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Temporary Limited-License Psychologist (TLLP), OR Limited-Licensed Psychologist (LLP)
Proficient with computers and Microsoft office products
Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHRs)
Ability to work closely with persons with mental or physical limitations
Ability to understand and value cultural and ethnic differences, their alternatives perspectives, lifestyles, etc.
Ability to work collaboratively and build positive working relationships
Ability to recognize the importance of collecting and reporting on outcome data
Ability to apply methods for measuring the multiple variables of treatment outcome
Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and courteously
Ability to use discretion and judgmental when handling matters of a sensitive or confidential nature
Advanced time management, problem solving, customer service, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to be forward thinking and take initiative to accomplish goals and objectives of the department
Preferred
Basic knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy.
Understanding of substance use and co-occurring disorders treatment.
Prior experience in a community mental health setting
