Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with alternate weekends Duration: 8-week contract with high chances of extension The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in the evaluation and diagnosis of medical conditions. This role requires delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established clinical protocols. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental guidelines Prepare and position patients for examinations, explaining procedures as needed Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate image acquisition Review images for technical quality and completeness before submission Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards Education: Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technologist training program Certifications & Licensure: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through ARDMS (required) BLS certification (preferred)

Performs ultrasonic examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in applying ultrasound techniques for radiologic diagnosis. Responsible for the safety and comfort of all patients undergoing ultrasound procedures. Ensures that all procedures have been appropriately ordered with satisfaction patient identification obtained prior to conducting procedure.
