Under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Receiver is responsible for physically checking in and systematically receiving and transferring shipments that arrive in the warehouse. Managing open PO's and shipments while working with buyers and warehouse team to follow up with our suppliers on expected orders.

HS diploma, GED or equivalent.
Valid US Driver's License.

Primary Responsibilities:
Works with warehouse team to physically check in orders as they arrive from vendors to ensure the items received match our PO's.
Is required to do the systematic receipt while ensuring that the prices / quantity and delivered quantity match.
Manages the inventory in the system, to include handling all crew and basic inventory transfers.
Develops and manages communication with our suppliers.
Follows up on weekly open / past due reporting with purchasing team, warehouse team, as well as suppliers.
Performs cycle counts.
Works with maintenance to ensure all services and shop fluids are received in the system.
Assists with quarterly and yearly physical inventory counts
Reviews invoices on hold that require attention with Procure-to-Pay team.
Verifies and maintains appropriate paperwork / documentation for auditors.
Assists with basic warehouse tasks when needed and directed by the Warehouse Manager.

As a Material Handler you will be responsible for loading, unloading, processing and storing hazardous and nonhazardous waste materials at a permitted waste treatment facility with supervision.
Essential Functions & Requirements:

Automated Materials Handling (20%)
Processes incoming and outgoing materials manually and using Automated Material Handling (AMH) equipment in a high-volume environment.

Support the AMH system with basic troubleshooting such as E-stop, clearing jams, preventing common technical issues and restarting the system.

As a Material Handler you will be responsible for loading, unloading, processing and storing hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials at a permitted waste treatment facility with supervision.
Essential Functions & Requirements:

Maintains "Vehicle Preventive Maintenance Check List" on a daily basis.
Work schedule includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays, outdoors in all weather
conditions.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Graduation from high school or equivalent and, one year of fully licensed driving experience. Commercial or truck driving experience is preferred coupled with skills in dealing with the public; or an equivalent combination of training and experience to provide the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT (S)
Appropriate North Carolina Driver's License for the weight and type of vehicle operated as required by the Department of Motor Vehicles. Clean driving record and the ability to drive a standard
transmission.
Must pass pre-employment drug test and be enrolled in random drug testing
program.
Requires the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
Under general supervision, transports guests and residents with their luggage to and from the curbside of their Island destination. Complies with company Customer Service standards. Reports to the Shift Supervisor.

Essential Functions:
Loads and unloads luggage onto/from dollies and loads and unloads the dollies onto/from the ferry. Unloads other items such as, but not limited to: bicycles, golf clubs, boxes, etc.
Directs pedestrian traffic by handling ropes, ensures that departing and arriving passengers get on/off boat in orderly fashion.
Prepares trams for operation. Keeps tram clean and orderly.
Politely and cheerfully greets customers and directs them to the appropriate tram. Assists them with the loading of luggage onto the tram at the ferry landing. Transports customers and luggage to their destination and helps them with unloading luggage from the tram.
Checks tram fluid levels daily. Reports any equipment or mechanical problems with tram and repairs if authorized. Washes and cleans trams as needed.
Operates vehicles at all times in a safe, courteous manner, complies with all traffic rules and laws.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: Under general supervision, and in the superintendent's absence, this position oversees all transfer station, composting, and construction & demolition (C&D) operations. It also manages staff involved in solid waste collection, disposal, transportation, and recycling. The person in this role is expected to lead with professionalism and good judgment, remain neutral and respectful, listen to different viewpoints, encourage input and work cooperatively with staff, city leadership, commissioners, elected officials, and the public.
EXAMPLES OF PERFORMANCE CRITERIA AND EXPECTATIONS:
* Assists in supervising the entire department and assures that the department is operating in conformity with all federal and state rules and regulations;
* Oversees the scheduling of all vehicle maintenance and service work;
* Does perform skilled and semi-skilled work in the operation of equipment such as automated tandem collection truck, roll-off truck, semi-trucks with trailer, baler, grinder, compactor, and compost turner;
* May drive truck to regional landfill;
* Assures that all employees follow all applicable safety procedures, uses proper safety equipment, and operates assigned equipment in a safe manner;
* Assists the superintendent and human resources in the recruitment processes;
Qualifications
Graduation from High School or GED Certificate supplemented by technical training in waste management; six (6) years progressive work experience in solid waste or related field. Possession of a valid South Dakota CDL Class A License with N Endorsement.
