Overview Role specifics: * Jurisdictions: US * Licenses: Required * Location: This role is eligible for fully remote work. How you'll make an impact Investigates, evaluates, disposes and settles the most complex claims and highest exposures with minimal supervision. Includes the investigation, determination and evaluation of coverage, liability and damages, and the setting of proper reserves. Incumbents at this level typically hold claims reserve and settlement authority of up to $10,000 liability and/or $25,000 workers compensation or greater. Exercises proper judgment and decision making to analyze the claims exposure, to determine the proper course of action and to appropriately settle the claim. Interacts extensively with various parties involved in the claim process. Able to clearly communicate concise action plans, and present plans for moving the case to conclusion. Will demonstrate complete knowledge of the claim file process through presentation of actions and responses to client questions. Processes claims consistent with clients' and corporate policies, procedures and "best practices" and also in accordance with any statutory, regulatory and ethics requirements. Demonstrated ability to comply with carrier reporting and threshold requirements. Able to recognize and pursue excess insurance recoveries. Incumbents will have the ability to handle a full case load, with proven ability to handle cases of increased severity. About You Potential candidates should have the following: * Claims Background: list line of business specifics here * Jurisdictional Experience: US * Active Adjusters' licenses: Required As a key member of our Claims Adjuster team, you will: * Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex commercial general liability bi, pd, litigated claims, applying your claims experience and analytical skills to make informed decisions and bring claims to resolution. * Work in partnership with our clients to deliver innovative solutions and enhance the claims management process * Think critically, solve problems, plan, and prioritize activities to optimally serve clients REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma. * Minimum of 5 years related claims experience. * Appropriate licensing and/or certification in all states in which claims are being handled. * Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices. * Computer experience with related claims and business software. Role specifics: * Jurisdictions: Any * Licenses: Any (TX, FL, NY, HI and RI a plus) (Must acquire within specified timeframe) * Location: This role is eligible for fully remote work How you'll make an impact * Apply claims management experience to execute decision-making to analyze claims exposure and litigation, plan the proper course of action, and appropriately resolve claims. * Interact extensively with various parties involved in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution. * Provide exceptional customer service to our claimants on behalf of our clients exhibiting empathy through each step of the claims process * Handle claims consistent with clients' and corporate policies, procedures, and standard methodologies in accordance with statutory, regulatory, and ethics requirements. * Document and communicate claim activity timely and efficiently, supporting the outcome of the claim file. About You Potential candidates should have the following: * Claims Background: Commercial General Liability * Jurisdictional Experience: Open to any * Active Adjusters' licenses: TX, FL, NY, HI, RI and reciprocals As a key member of our Claims Adjuster team, you will: * Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex GL BI claims, applying your claims experience and analytical skills to make informed decisions and bring claims to resolution. * Work in partnership with our clients to deliver innovative solutions and enhance the claims management process * Think critically, solve problems, plan, and prioritize activities to optimally serve clients REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma. * Minimum of 5 years related claims experience. * Appropriate licensing and/or certification in all states in which claims are being handled. * Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices. * Computer experience with related claims and business software.
