This role works closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Controller to maintain accurate financial records and uphold the integrity of financial reporting.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Compile and analyze financial data to produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Assist with month-end close activities and support external audit preparation.
Develop and monitor departmental and program budgets, providing variance analysis and guidance to program managers.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and accounts payable sub-ledgers to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and GASB standards.
Prepare and submit financial reports to federal and state agencies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Complete special projects and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in budgeting, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
Background in healthcare or nonprofit accounting a plus.
Experience with government-funded programs and state/federal grants preferred.
