Rodgers Health Center (FQHC) The Patient Care Representative & Mobile Unit Driver (PCR/MUD) plays a dual role supporting both patient-facing operations and the safe and efficient transport of the Behavioral Health Mobile Unit. This position provides clerical, receptionist, and care coordination support while ensuring timely transportation of the mobile unit to partner schools and community locations. The PCR/MUD represents Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center (SURHC) with professionalism, cultural humility, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. The role is essential in creating and maintaining an environment where all members of the Care Team feel respected, supported, and empowered to contribute to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement. Qualifications Key Responsibilities Mobile Unit Driving & Safety Safely operate, transport, and secure the Behavioral Health Mobile Unit to assigned service locations. MOBILE MATERNITY UNIT DRIVER Maternal Health Center 85 West Miller St. Orlando FL 32806 Full-Time - 40 Hours Per Week This position will maintain and drive a Mobile Maternity Unit to community sites in Orange County as part of the hospital-based community outreach program, Orlando Health Women's Institute Center for Maternal Health (CMH) Mobile Care. The driver ensures the safety of the vehicle and assists medical personnel during scheduled clinic sessions. Education/Training. • High School graduate or equivalent. Licensure/Certification • Valid Florida Driver's license with no more than six (6) points; must be at least 21 years of age and insurable under the Orlando Health insurance carrier's requirements and standards. • Florida Driver's Class "E" regular license. Experience • Two (2) years driving experience with specialty vehicles. Previous experience with community mobile outreach program is a plus. Inspect the unit's interior to ensure that it is presentable, safe, and secure. Inspect the destination surroundings and parking lot to ensure that it is secure and that no current threat or nuisance exists. Conduct walkthroughs inside and outside hourly. Monitor and report any illicit activities in and around the unit. Report all life-threatening situations concerning teammates, patients, and the immediate community. Position Summary Under the direction of the Versiti Supervisor Transportation, executes standard processes and policies for transportation courier services including blood product hospital deliveries and returns, donor center and mobile blood pick-ups, supply deliveries, distribution site transfers, Diagnostic Lab sample pick-ups, Pharmacy deliveries, and Donor Testing Lab tube deliveries, in a safe and timely fashion while meeting customer expectations and complying with applicable regulatory standards. Total Rewards Package Compensation The target salary for this position is $18.29 per hour. The target salary is based on internal averages. Versiti sets salary ranges aligned to local markets in which the job is performed. Compensation decisions take into account internal salary averages and differentiation based on education, experience, skills, and performance. Responsibilities Executes Versiti policies and procedures for internal blood product hospital deliveries and returns, donor center pick-ups, equipment, interoffice mail, supply deliveries, distribution site transfers, Diagnostic Lab sample pick-ups, Pharmacy deliveries, Donor Testing Lab tube deliveries Ensures the safety, purity, potency and efficacy of products by following Versiti procedures in handling of all blood and blood products Communicates any fleet maintenance needs, completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuels vehicles, and general vehicle upkeep Organize non-scheduled STAT deliveries and special requests to maintain efficiency and meet customer requirements Practices defensive driving techniques, complete vehicle driving and safety training course (online or in person) Executes Versiti customer service strategies designed to meet and/or exceed customer requirements Completes all Versiti required training on time Adheres to the laboratory safety policies as outlined in the department manual and employee handbook Responsible for vehicle cleanliness, assuring no products, equipment, samples or materials remain in the vehicle at the end of the shift Appropriate appearance and uniform required Complete all paperwork correctly Demonstrates courtesy for other drivers and consideration for weather and road conditions Performs other duties as assigned Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification Understands and performs in accordance with all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements Complies with all standard operating policies and procedures Qualifications Education High School Diploma required Experience 4-6 years experience as a route driver preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check Ability to follow directions and read a map Outstanding customer service skills Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively Exceptional problem solving and decision making skills Ability and motivation to cross train in Hospital Services Licenses and Certifications Valid driver's license required Tools and Technology Versiti vehicles required Hand trucks required Coolers required Hand-held tablet/mobile device required Not ready to apply?
