Responsibilities:
Quality control technicians are responsible for ensuring ZwitterCo products meet quality standards. This role will inspect, test, and monitor products and materials. A keen eye is necessary to ensure everything meets ZwitterCo's rigorous safety, regulatory, and quality standards. This role will also involve collaborating with production and product development teams to improve quality processes. Responsibilities include:
Ensure product quality and safety:
* Inspect incoming and outgoing materials, products, and components to verify they meet specifications and standards
* Operate, calibrate, and maintain test equipment to ensure the accuracy of results
* Collect, record, and analyze test data, identifying trends and anomalies. Elevate concerning data to management when needed
Conduct thorough testing:
* Carry out tests and inspections per procedure to ensure specifications are met
* Document results and produce detailed report summaries
* Troubleshoot issues and suggest possible solutions
* Recommend product improvements and advise management on quality control issues
Collaborate for quality:
* Work closely with other teams to maintain and improve overall product quality and safety standards
* Investigate customer complaints and assist with corrective actions
* Collaborate on experiments and testing protocols for developmental materials
* Provide input on testing capabilities and best practices and identify needs for additional testing equipment

POSITION SUMMARY: The production technician will be responsible for efficiently operating specialty CNC manufacturing equipment in a production setting, transporting materials in process and performing assembly processes. The technician will be responsible for maintaining quality products and interacting with the operations and engineering teams to improve processes to maximize production volumes and minimize scrapped production due to in-process defects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Quality lead, the Assistant Electrical Quality Inspector is responsible for assisting the Electrical Quality Inspector with the quality control management and Electrical works acceptance of large scale, solar and battery storage projects. Job Summary:
Reporting to the Quality Team Lead, the Civil Quality Inspector is responsible for the quality control management and civil works acceptance of large scale solar and battery storage projects, with potential involvement with utility scale wind projects in the future. Responsibilities include conducting routine inspections to ensure code, testing, and material compliance of services and products adhere to the standard of Repsol's Quality Management System of renewable energy projects as assigned by the Quality Team Lead, Construction Manager, Project Manager, and others as needed. This position will also be responsible for the definition of quality requirements on our construction sites. This position is project-based, and will require relocation to the project location, with occasional travel to other sites as needed. Travel to the Downtown Houston office is limited.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines through daily hazard recognition documentation review and enforcement.
Follow the QA/QC management system at sites.
Use QA/QC computer programs and tablets to document quality records.
Ability to read, interpret, and disseminate contractual language and industry related code information on multi-million-dollar renewable energy construction projects.
Responsible for performing all aspects of Civil inspection activities with minimum supervision.
Scheduling and leading meetings with project team members and management, both with Repsol and the EPC representatives
Work closely with EPC Quality Managers, inspectors, foremen, superintendents, and construction managers to resolve issues throughout construction
Coordinate with Assistant Civil Inspector daily for completion of inspection tasks
Ensure that Civil ITP stages are compliant with standards.
Review IFCs and overall accuracy.
Monitor Civil operations and conduct required work inspection to resolve quality related issues with workers and subcontractors.
Communicate with management and subcontractors on the requirements of Quality's scope of work.
Verify that all site activities comply with the quality codes and standards.
Provide appropriate feedback to management regarding QA/QC matters.
Develop Inspection and Test Programs.
Coordinate quality site inspections with all contractors/subcontractors and vendors.
Monitor the implementation of the approved site QC plan.
Inspect / review product material and testing to ensure compliance with code, standards, specifications, and QCM.

Witness post grade survey and ensure that the finish grade is to engineering specifications.
Witness density testing and ensure that daily testing documentation is in order.

The candidate must be proficient in and have the ability and knowledge to witness, review, and understand industry-standard testing methods including:
Standard and Modified Proctors
Soil and Aggregate Gradations
Density and compaction testing
Concrete field and lab testing (including mix designs and constituents).
Other applicable ASTM test methods for soils
The responsibilities of this position will include daily field inspections and reviews of all civil work, including but not limited to:
Grading
Concrete, rebar, and foundations
SWPPP compliance
Subgrade preparation
Road construction
SPCC implementation and adherence
Aggregate placement
Cross training with other disciplines (mechanical and electrical) will be required as necessary and/or as determined by the Quality Team Lead.
Minimum Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the US for any employer.
Valid US Driver's License.
OSHA 10 Certification.
Previous experience working with Geotechnical reports; previous roles completing concrete and constituent testing, density testing, and (lab) soils testing
Minimum of 5 years of construction experience on energy related projects.
Previous solar MV cable trenching experience is required.
Previous experience with SWPPP and BMPs is required.

Demonstrated ability in quality control of materials testing and acceptance, final grade verification, and SWPPP.

OSHA 30 Certification.

/OBJECTIVE
The QC Inspector will be responsible for approving incoming, in-process, and finished materials according to Internal and Customer requirements. The QC inspector will also be responsible for creating and documenting inspection results, taking measurements, and tracking non-conforming product.

Inspect customer supplied material, per specified drawings.

Make First Article inspection and document inspection results.
Log and verify traceability packets.
Implement and practice Lean Manufacturing tools including 5S, increased productivity, and eliminating waste.
Maintain 5S checklist as it applies to your work area.
Perform other related duties assigned by QA Manager or QC Leadperson or QC Supervisor.
Other Requirements
An annual vision examination is required.
Must have experience with the use of measuring instruments in the completion of dimensional inspections. (Calipers, micrometers, CMM, Pi tapes, Optical comparators, etc.)
Must follow company safety procedures at all times.
Must have average reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
Must be able to visually inspect materials and manufactured products.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., 3 ft. high.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent, with 2-3 years of work-related experience.
Work Environment
This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses tools and other such equipment during the course of the job duties. Provided Personal Protective Equipment, as well as steel-toed boots or shoes, must be worn at all times
