Key Performance Indictors: List two to five measurable tasks that are key to indicating the performance level in this role: Perform basic SMT and thru hole hand component soldering per IPC-610 Class 3, J-Std-001 Operate hand and/or automatic tools safely. Lead forming of different types of electronic parts using hand tools and soldering stations on PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly. Work with leaded and lead- free solder. Basic ability to read PCB assembly drawings and related documents; ECN's, assembly instructions. Utilize electrical and manual tools such as soldering iron, de-soldering equipment, and solder removal tools. Basic understanding of PCB assembly processes, component installation sequence of thru hole components. Maintains department specific records. Other duties may be assigned.
