Assembles electrical components and circuits by reading and interpreting specifications, assembly drawings, outline drawings, and bills of materials. Wires components together, which may include cutting and bending conduit. Performs small precision assembly and assembly of large units as required. Fabricates or modifies parts or structures according to specifications, using drills and cutters. Completes documentation and maintains traceability records. Uses drawings and/or bill of materials to pull the correct parts for the assembly process. Performs assignments with minimal direction. Assists and guides lesser-skilled team members. Performs in-process quality checks to include electrical testing, close tolerance measuring, and documentation. Operates equipment and makes normal overhead crane lifts. Reads and interprets complex manufacturing drawings and process specs. Familiar with and has experience with ESD process and controls.
