Programs and tests electronics per testing instructions. Reworks failed products as necessary. Assembles polypacks to finished goods prior to sending to shipping. Cleans and maintains test tanks. Maintains water level in test tank. Maintains communication with Engineering Department regarding product performance problems. QUALIFICATIONS Manufacturing experience preferred. Experience using hand tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods of time, lift/carry/push objects weighing 50 pounds, crouch/kneel, bend, reach, and handle/grasp objects. This position requires intermediate-level assembly skills, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and experience working in a manufacturing environment. The Assembler II works under moderate supervision and may support training of junior team members. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assemble complex high-level assemblies using hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures in accordance with work instructions and blueprints Interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications to ensure proper component placement and functionality Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met throughout the assembly process Conduct functional tests on subassemblies and final assemblies, reporting issues to quality or engineering teams as needed Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any discrepancies or non-conformances Assist in troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues in collaboration with engineering and quality departments Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts within the department Adhere to all company safety protocols and cleanroom or ESD procedures as applicable Train and mentor Assembler I team members as directed Requirements PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment preferred Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, bills of materials, and assembly instructions Familiarity with tools and techniques used in precision assembly Basic understanding of ESD and cleanroom protocols Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Basic computer skills and experience with ERP systems preferred EDUCATION High School Diploma LOCATION Onsite SCHEDULE Mon-Fri, 7a-3:30p PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. TITLE: Track Group Assembler DEPARTMENT: Production REPORTS TO: Facility Lead FLSA: Non-Exempt The Main duties of Track Assemblers are to build track groups for dozers and excavators. Main Duties and Responsibilities: · Load assembly conveyor with track chain using material handling devices. · Remove dried paint from mounting areas, as needed · Install track shoes and fastening hardware, then snugly fasten bolts and track components into position. · Torque bolts and nuts to requirements using manual and/or electric torque devices. · Perform required product verifications/inspections. · Coil wrap and secure finished track group assemblies. · Occasionally use hand tools, drills, reamers, and other tools to allow close-fitting parts. · Operate small cranes to transport or position large parts · Operate a sit-down forklift · Involves climbing, bending, stooping, and lifting to assemble. · Other duties as assigned · Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety polices. Qualifications Education: Preferred high school education or GED. · Work Experience: Requires up to two years of schooling or direct work experience; Must be mechanically inclined and have good basic knowledge obtained through schooling or work experience. Physical: Must be able to routinely stoop, kneel, bend, and climb beside various products or equipment to perform assembly, diagnosis, and repairs; Must be able to effectively see as well as operate equipment/ tools to perform assembly, repairs, and inspections.
