What You'll Do:
Assemble and install structural and cosmetic components of our boats
Use a variety of hand and power tools including tape measures, razor knives, screw guns, drills, and ratchets
Identify and correct defects, ensuring all work meets Freeman's quality standards
Work independently and as part of a team to meet daily production goals
Perform fiberglass grinding and cutting to fit parts as needed
Assist with minor lamination work
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in assembly or hands-on mechanical work preferred
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance
Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment (may include sun exposure)
Able to climb stairs, ladders, and ramps to safely access boats and equipment
Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills and the ability to stay on task
Experience using hand tools and following written/verbal instructions
Strong safety awareness and willingness to wear PPE (eye/ear protection, gloves, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, lift, kneel, and bend for extended periods
Must be able to work a 10-hour shift or longer, including overtime when needed
Exposure to loud noise, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and fiberglass dust is common
