Job Description:
Navigate computer-based work instructions to install parts & hardware using hand tools & fixtures if needed; on wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) in a Lean manufacturing clean-room environment.
Effectively use hand tools, torque wrenches, equipment & fixtures to assemble WFE
Read & navigate work instructions & schematics
Work in teams to ensure workflow & production schedule is maintained
Provide flexibility & responsiveness for changing priorities including rework requirements & pilot build projects Ensures the correct parts were delivered & performs visual inspection of components prior to installation Assists with audits through visual inspection & verifying checklists
Closes assigned tasks by verifying work was completed, verify Cell Fusion was completed, & signing off & giving a description of what was done
Installs parts & hardware correctly by following Cell Fusion instructions & using hand tools & fixtures if needed; verifies Cell Fusion completion

Primary Function:
The Assembly Mechanic is responsible for installation of integrated system components including engines, drives, HVAC systems, Fuel systems, Hydraulic systems, Fire suppression systems, and many others. Other responsibilities include taking welded parts and bolting them together, using cranes and forklifts, etc. Very fast and driven job.
Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
Assemble and install integrated mechanical systems including engines, driveshafts, HVAC units, and piping systems
Follow mechanical drawings and part layouts to complete builds
Use hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.) and power tools provided on-site
Work independently on tasks ~60% of the time, with teamwork during key install phases
Operate in environments that include CNC machines and lathes
Safely lift and position components with cranes and rigging as needed
Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all PPE and safety requirements
Adhere to strict attendance and safety policies
Communicate effectively with team members to complete assemblies and resolve issues

Education and Experience: (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
Desirable backgrounds include mechanics and millwrights with experience in marine repair, maintenance, or new construction applications or in manufacturing, maintenance, or repair industries such as industrial machinery, automotive, aerospace, farm equipment, or other industries requiring high degrees of mechanical aptitude and competence in integrated systems assembly.
Must have own set of tools (Basic hand tools. Large power tools provided by company.)
Hydraulics and piping experience is a plus
Familiarity with machining is a plus (CNC machines or lathes)
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Capable of carefully following engineering drawings and procedures to perform equipment installations
Possess a strong mechanical aptitude
Min. five to seven Years' experience in any of the above summary. Or apprentice program.

Using soldering irons and heat guns for PCB soldering, desoldering, and rework of both surface mount & thru hole components.
Soldering under a microscope.
Using solder paste & reflow oven.
Using screws, nuts, etc. to attach mechanical components like heatsinks onto circuit boards; work must be done in a clean, static-safe environment. Loctite will be applied to certain screws.
Assembling wiring harnesses, cutting wires, crimping ring terminals or ferrules, soldering connector pins to solder cups, applying heat-shrink, and tug-testing of a variety of cables and wire harnesses.
Applying thermal paste to bolted assembly interfaces.
Following Work checklists and assembly drawings.
Inspection of the quality of the work performed by others & self.
Cleaning flux, dirt, and dust off of mechanical components and electrical PCBs.

Have significant (3+ years) hands-on experience building, modifying, printed circuit board and mechanical assemblies.

Maintains a clean work area, including his equipment, work supplies and materials.
Complies with Federal, State, and local occupational safety, environmental, health and Safety and air pollution control regulations including machine safety with all safety precautions recommended by Machine manufacturers.
Adhere to Sulzer safety standards of facility and actively participate in the company's Safe Behavioral Program & Take 5.

Purpose of Position: This position is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing systems and sub-assemblies used in imaging, sensing, and stabilization products. This role works with schematics, work instructions, and engineering drawings to ensure high-quality builds in a high-precision environment.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Assemble electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies, including motors, sensors, harnesses, and printed circuit boards, for stabilized gimbal systems.
Route and secure cabling, harnesses, and connectors per wiring diagrams and standard work procedures.
Use precision tools such as torque drivers, calipers, micrometers, and crimpers to meet mechanical tolerances and electrical connection standards.
Conduct in-process quality checks and final assembly verification to ensure functionality and alignment.
Follow all ESD, FOD, and cleanroom procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
Accurately document build steps, deviations, and completed work in ERP or traveler systems (e.g., NetSuite, paper traveler).
Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and quality assurance to resolve build issues or process improvements.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
Experience with documenting and detailing work.
Ability to work under magnification and maintain fine motor control.
Basic understanding of ESD control and clean manufacturing practices.

Overview of the role:
Performs a variety of tasks to support the production of Rejuvenation lighting and hardware products. As an Electrical Assembler Technician, you will be assigned to the Assembly area, and work in other functions as needed.
Responsibilities
Assembles and installs electrical wiring of all lighting fixtures.
Safely perform repetitive small assembly operations according to quality specifications to produce a completed light fixture.
Perform repetitive hand and bench assembly of varying small sizes using hands, adhesives, fasteners, hand tools, fixtures, and other small machine assists.
Tests, calibrates, and fits parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
