📋 Key Responsibilities
As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality automotive components. Your duties may include, but are not limited to:
Press Operation: Loading and unloading materials into press lines, operating machinery, and performing die changeovers.
Assembly: Operating assembly line equipment, loading, assembling, and welding parts using established processes.
Quality Control: Inspecting parts produced to ensure they meet high-quality standards and completing necessary documentation.
Material Handling: Racking parts, loading steel into de-stackers, and potentially operating a forklift (training may be provided).Safety & Improvement: Maintaining excellent housekeeping (5S) to ensure a safe work environment and participating in continuous improvement activities (TPM).
Troubleshooting: Correcting basic machine problems and assisting with equipment and automation troubleshooting.

* Reads and interprets work instructions to ensure accuracy of work performed.
* Operate semi-automatic equipment such as crimp presses, sonic welder, and wire strippers.
* Routes, wires, and assembles electronic components using wire layout boards.
* Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies and finished products.
* Prep components prior to assembly, clean components, wire bond, potting, seal, mark, and inspect components, subassemblies, or completed assemblies.
* Install electrical or electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using hand tools.
* Align, fit, or assemble component parts, using hand or power tools, fixtures, templates, or microscopes.
* Capable of being trained across the entire product line and working with Engineering on new or emerging products as well as producing first articles.
* Follow company guidelines and procedures
* Responsible for being an active team participant in teamwork toward continuous improvement.

Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds.
Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, protective shoes/boots. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
Employees must demonstrate physical ability to work in a standing position, between 8-12 hours per day.
Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:00 pm, Fridays and Saturdays for overtime as needed.
