In this position you will work collaboratively to build quality products for customers while ensuring that documentation of each stage of completion is accurate and escalating any issues to leadership immediately. As an operator, you will be expected to train and certify in each station area, including being cross trained for maximum efficiency and output. Essential Duties and Responsibilities; Work Environment: Read and comprehend written instructional documents, legibly fill out inspection forms, and communicate effectively with colleagues, other departments, and management. Assemble products by following standard operating procedures (SOP). Use hand tools when needed to assemble, build, or create finished goods. Install various parts such as wiring harnesses, bolts, screws, tires, etc. as required by assembly instructions outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures. Stand and/or walk up to eight (8) hours per day. Frequently lift and push/pull up to 35 pounds - occasionally above shoulders. Occasionally lift and push/pull up to 75 pounds - using Team Lift as needed. Use of hand tools, power tools, high-potential testers, lift devices, and assembly fixtures when needed. Must maintain a safe, clean, organized, and efficient work area and adhere to strict quality guidelines. Perform all other duties as required. Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalency. Highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed. Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team member.
