Full-time Description As an Assembly Technician at AKG, you will be responsible for assembling large and complex cooling systems based on detailed work order instructions and 3D computer models. Your duties will include locating and retrieving parts, assembling units, and ensuring quality standards are met. Once assembly is complete, you will transport the units to the packaging area using motorized overhead cranes or forklifts and assist in loading them onto flatbed trucks for shipping. Your role is critical in ensuring the efficient and accurate assembly of cooling systems for timely delivery. Essential Functions: Read and understand work instructions and blueprints. Cuts and punches screen and metal materials to be assembled later in the process. Cuts and processes various sizes and styles of soft plate glass. Uses glue and staples to seal cardboard packages. * Operates various types of screw guns, packagers, computers, tape measures, bowl feeders, air hammers, rocket roller, splining wheels, glass press, utility knife, putty knife, snips, drill presses, sawing equipment, punch presses, laminating, riveting machines, clinching presses, sawing equipment, jigs, fixtures, small hand tools and other fasteners. * Performs quality checks on products manufactured and at times, checks the work of others. * Utilizes required safety equipment, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), deemed necessary in company facilities to eliminate or reduce workplace hazards. * Perform job requirements and operate equipment within safety guidelines and reports any nonconformance. * Trains other workers in the skills acquired in the performance of the job. * Maintains acceptable attendance record and follows Comfort Bilt security policies. * Must abide by all Comfort Bilt policies. * Rotation required for most job assignments. * Will be required to move to other work groups and hours of work as needed to meet staffing requirements and customer demands. * Read and comprehend simple instructions from production standards, memos or other correspondence. * Write simple instructions or correspondence as needed. * Must be courteous and maintain a good working relationship with supervisors and co-workers. * Other duties as assigned.

Job Description This position requires the assembling of many machine parts according to instructions and within a specific time frame, while using the appropriate tools and/or equipment according to safety and quality standards, as well as carrying out any other duties as directed by the Lead Person or Supervisor. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately perform the assembly and wiring portion of the Automation build process. Train other employees how to build the subsections of Automation Equipment. Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards. Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified. Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Maintain a clean and safe work area specified time frame. Performed adjustments needed to ensure factory settings and specifications using schematics and/or engineering documentation. Lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted. May be required to climb using a safety harness or ladder up to 16' feet tall. May be required to work beyond normal business hours when necessary.
