Job Title: Assembly Technician Employment Type: Full-Time, TTH or Direct Pay: $28-32/hr. Travel Requirement: High (regional and national travel required) The Field Service / Equipment Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated dispensing and processing equipment at customer sites. Swage; (Spherical Inserts) Select and change dies, pins, shims, springs. Sign out all necessary gauging equipment from Q.A. and set gauges per print specifications. Check part for fit, center, stake, stamp, proper marking - visually; by touch or with appropriate gauging as required. Run 1st piece part when required, make appropriate adjustments to attain quality characteristics per print specifications and complete necessary paperwork to attain a set-up approval. Load parts as instructed, cycle equipment and check parts at designated intervals and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality characteristics of part per print specifications throughout operation. Move parts to and from work area and scale as needed. Wash parts before running. Maintain all machine fluid levels. The hourly rate of pay for this position is $18.50 -$21.86 per hour and is commensurate on experience and education. These are entry level assembly positions but prior production and/or warehouse assembly experience will be beneficial. The employees will need to be able to walk/stand between 4 -8 hours per day. The position will entail hand assembly of products, packaging of products, and light machine operation.
