What you will do
Candidate will manufacture transformers including winding electrical iron to make electrical components for high voltage systems. These items typically include bending, forming and winding copper tube into circular shapes, brazing and soldering of fittings perform leak testing.
Essential Functions:
Math skills - adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and working with fractions.
Able to read measuring devices - rulers, tape measures, squares, levels, Vernier's, and formulas.
Mechanical aptitude - able to use and operate power tools, i.e.: band saw, shear, hydraulic press, hydraulic bender, drill press, table disk sander, etc.
Able to read and comprehend mechanical drawings, schematics and specifications.
Maintain a safe working environment for oneself and co-workers at all times.
Perform general housekeeping as required.
Regular in attendance and able and willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime.
Willing to attend classes/training to improve basic skills and non-essential functions.
Will handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Non-Essential Functions:
Industrial painting.
Rough carpentry.
