Do optical performance test for WSS optical assembly
Apply and cure UV glues to fix optical components
Inspect own work according to quality specifications

Load and unload alignment stations
Correctly enter numerical data

Job Description
Sett is looking for a General Assembly Associate. This position is ideal for candidates who have a passion for learning and want to be involved with emerging technologies. With Sett you will be working with the assembly of our modular style homes. This position focuses on aspects of the design evaluation, installation, maintenance, operation, and repair of plumbing systems. However, you will gain experience in many fields from general construction to mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety in their occupation.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems composed of metals, such as iron, steel, brass and lead, and nonmetals, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
Read and interpret blueprints, instructions, and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems.
Locates and marks pipe and connection position and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors.
Use hand and power tools to cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings; Uses a pipe cutter and pipe-threading machine to cut and thread pipes
Joins pipe by use of screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and calk joints.
Fills pipe system with water or air and reads pressure gauges to determine if there is a leak.
Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.
Install waste disposal and sanitary systems.
Qualifications
3+ years of disposal and sanitary systems
Valid California Driver's license
Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
Strong communication and organization skills

· Mechanical aptitude, good with tools and working with your hands
· Ability to lift 25lbs consistently
· Work with precision tooling in small places
· Understanding of general safety guidelines and practices
· General knowledge of electro-mechanical functionality
· Excellent communication skills
