The primary responsibility of this role is to assemble and disassemble parts and subassemblies, conduct inspections, and perform maintenance and repairs as needed. Assists in raw materials handling operation by tending raw material feeder and conveyor system and keeping area clean. **WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING** + Checks to see that materials are properly flowing from crushed stone and raw materials storage to raw grinding mills, blending silos and kiln. That clinker is properly flowing from kiln to cooler to clinker storage, and that coal is properly flowing to coal mill. + Makes regular visual inspections of raw grinding, finish grinding, blending, clinker burning and cooling, material conveying and coal mill equipment to see that they are functioning properly. Reports malfunctions and repair problems to Production Supervisor and Control Room Operator + Lubricates compressors, pumps, coal mill gears.
