**Responsibilities**
The general scope of this position's responsibility is to work closely with the Helpers, Set Up Techs and the Shift Supervisors. You must also be able to work closely with the Quality Control Technicians in case of quality problems. You must be able to perform all of your duties in a safe and timely fashion. The technician's main responsibility is to keep the line running acceptable quality product.
1. Maintain operation of designated line.
2. Be able to supervise Helpers on line and be responsible for their actions.
3. Ability to take ownership of the line when it is down and be responsible for getting the line back up and running under normal running conditions.
4. Ability to train their helpers to perform properly in accordance with the helper's responsibilities.
5. Responsible for following safety rules, such as wearing safety gloves, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection and safety glasses in assigned areas and the appropriate safety procedures that apply. A technician is also responsible for the enforcement of safety rules to the helper.
6. Responsible for clean ups and daily clean up that is due by the end of the shift.
7. Ability to do all technician paperwork, key information into the computer system, and be responsible for all products run on the line.
8. Ability to understand the process and operation of the equipment.
9. Drive forklift as needed to move skids and/or supplies in a safe manner.
10. Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
**Qualifications**
1. Prefer at least 1 year as an Apprentice Technician or approval from upper management.

Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Assembler is responsible for a wide range of functions including preassembly duties and testing rebuilt units in the Production Department. The Assembler ensures that equipment is created and assembled efficiently and correctly. Uses Method Instructions to assemble equipment

Tests frozen beverage dispensing equipment for any discrepancies

Job Summary
The Assembler will be responsible for fabricating metallic and nonmetallic parts to be assembled into complete units. This role will apply knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, layout techniques, operating conventional and special purpose machines and hand tools.

* Verify packaging is free of loose components, debris, setup parts, or test parts.
* Visually check the station to make sure all tooling is correct and clinch finger is tight in place.
* Check components to prints to make sure the correct parts are in the tray.
* Verify the components with the travel cards and the work order cards as a double check.
* Turn on the machine.
* Look over machine to make sure all guards are in place and light curtains in good working condition.
* Place band and housing on the mandrel and press with your foot on the foot pedal.

* Gages used must be handled and stored properly and returned to inspection station after use. If a gage is found to be damaged or non-functional, discontinue use and return to gage lab.
