Technicians may assemble packages individually or in a team using drawings, specifications and custom job documentation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES • Assembly of Blower Packages: Assemble blower and compressor packages per company defined procedures with accuracy, precision, and quality. • Department Support: Participate in departmental initiatives such as inventory counts, shop reorganization, and clean-up. • Identify Mechanical Challenges: Identify potential mechanical challenges found during assembly and work with team to develop solutions to optimize product quality while meeting customer requirements. • Inventory Management: Pull parts for jobs (using forklift as needed). Complete inventory documentation as needed. Maintain and restock Kanban inventory stocks • Visual Product & Component Knowledge: Identifies Aerzen products and understands their use for the job function. • Understand and use Equipment Diagrams: Read, understand and use equipment diagrams, checklists, and other documentation to assemble blower packages per customer requirements. Uses General Arrangement (GA) drawings to assemble a blower package. Uses GA drawing to obtain dimensions for blower assembly. Uses basic instrumentation GA diagram to install gauges, switches, and fittings. Uses diagrams to program ASG, AS, or Aertronic control panel. • Electrical Schematics: Read, understand and use electrical schematics to wire motors, control panels and switches in accordance with local and national electrical codes (NEC, NEMA, ASME, etc.). • Job Documentation: Read, understand and use equipment diagrams, checklists, and other documentation to assemble blower and compressor packages per customer requirements. • Wire & Program Control Panels: Wire preassembled control panel to blower assembly, Wire low voltage switches, transmitters, thermostats and sensors in blower package, Connect VFD to blower package. • Field Service On-site: Inspect, evaluate and repair equipment at customer's locations using best practices for root cause analysis and quality service provision - Blowers & Compressors. • Customer Service Skills: Ability to respond to customer needs with professionalism and responsiveness. Purpose, Scope, Organization The Assembly Technician will be responsible for the following elements of a batch wet processing tool build; sub-assembly builds, decontamination of tools, electrical modifications, mechanical assembly, layout, final testing, tool assembly ownership, installations, tech service, field service, and assist less experienced employees. The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling intricate and highly complex medical devices and aerospace sub-assemblies to meet the exacting quality standards of our customers, internal quality requirements, and regulatory standards of ISO 13485:2016 and AS9100. It requires collaboration among Engineering, Quality and Production teams. This role requires a high level of manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly schematics. 🔧 What You'll Do: Assemble complex and intricate medical devices and aerospace components according to blueprints, job requirements, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Follow precise assembly steps, ensuring compliance with form, fit and function, tolerances, and customer specifications. Perform visual inspections and functional testing of assembled components to identify and resolve defects before final quality control checks. Operate specialized assembly equipment, such as custom fixtures, press-fit machines, and adhesive dispensers, as required. Accurately document work, including quality/inspection documentation, time & quantity in production records, job travelers, and ERP/Scheduling systems. Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve assembly-related challenges and support continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in process development and validation of new assembly procedures. Support Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste. May work in a cleanroom or controlled environment, maintaining strict cleanliness and contamination control procedures. ✅ What You Bring: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in mechanical assembly, precision machining, or related field preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in precision assembly of medical devices, aerospace components, or similarly intricate mechanical/electromechanical systems. Familiarity with ISO 13485:2016 and AS9100 quality management system standards preferred. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, and work instruction interpretation. Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) a plus. Experience with cleanroom assembly procedures (a plus). PRIMARY PURPOSE: To maintain all mall owned and operated heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment in order to provide safe, efficient and effective operation. This position is on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to assist the operations department in handling emergencies at the property level. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Work in cooperation with other contracted mechanical services as retained by management. Report all situations requiring emergency and/or immediate action to the appropriate personnel. Troubleshoot various systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and other systems as required to determine source of malfunction and repair. Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance to designated equipment; make adjustments to equipment and controls to ensure operations are in compliance with specifications and/or standards. Install, maintain and make repairs to electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment as needed. Perform the job in accordance with all applicable standards, policies and regulatory guidelines (i.e. EPA, OSHA standards) to promote a safe working environment. Administer compliance of local, state, and federal laws pertaining to areas such as fire, safety, hazardous material, access etc. Observe operation, read gauges and instruments, and adjust mechanisms such as valves, controls and pumps to control level of fluid, pressure and temperature. Provide routine services to include preventive maintenance on air side and water side equipment, identifying, installing, maintaining and disposing of all types of filters, cleaning mechanical/transformer rooms, picking up and delivering parts, and assisting higher level heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration mechanics and or contracted services. Schedule preventative maintenance programs as assigned by management. Coordinate work orders and maintain the integrity of the Work Order System. Ensure the appropriate inventory systems, records, files, Material Safety Data Sheets, supplies, equipment and tools are maintained. Replace defective breaker controls, thermostats, switches, lighting components, fuses and basic electrical wiring, etc. Employee may be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description. REQUIRED SKILLS: Self-starter with ability to work independently. Familiarity with air handler units to include efficient operation required to achieve energy savings and acceptable comfort levels. Knowledge in filter identification and application, equipment and component identification, safety procedures, refrigeration cycle and soft soldering. Knowledge of cooling tower operation & start-up and package roof top HVAC units. Knowledge of condenser and chilled water systems and water treatment. Capability to diagnoses problems on equipment. Ability to disassemble, clean, lubricate, repair and replace parts, as required. Able to diagnose basic malfunctioning mechanical systems, test components; trouble shoot and repair replace or adjust defective or worn parts. Able to operate and program Building Automation Systems and Energy Management Systems as they relate to energy savings, life safety, seasonal adjustments and company standards. Knowledge of safety rules, hazards and application of accident prevention measures associated with the operation of mechanical and HVAC equipment. Ability to work rotating shifts, which may include days, evenings, weekends and holidays. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or Trade School Certificate. 3 - 5 years' experience in the HVAC maintenance field (Related education may be substituted for up to two years' experience on a year-for-year basis) Valid Driver's license EPA Certification
