As such, you will be traveling to a different location each day, ensuring boxes and furniture are properly wrapped, and loading everything specified into a vehicle. * Performs daily/weekly/monthly preventive and routine machine maintenance
* Performs tooling adjustment (e.g., sharpening/conditioning, checking height of spring-loaded pins (pin-out), keying features, bend stations, insertion stations)
* Replaces sensors, punches, dies, stock components, air cylinders, belts, etc.
* Adjusts housing feed based on associated standards.
* Uses height indicator, ram optic, gauges, and microscopic visual checks
* Identifies and re-sets machine faults, clears jams, restarts production, removes and packages finished product

Responsibilities
The general scope of this position's responsibility is to work closely with the Helpers, Set Up Techs and the Shift Supervisors. You must also be able to work closely with the Quality Control Technicians in case of quality problems. You must be able to perform all of your duties in a safe and timely fashion. The technician's main responsibility is to keep the line running acceptable quality product.
Maintain operation of designated line.
Be able to supervise Helpers on line and be responsible for their actions.
Ability to take ownership of the line when it is down and be responsible for getting the line back up and running under normal running conditions.
Ability to train their helpers to perform properly in accordance with the helper's responsibilities.
Responsible for following safety rules, such as wearing safety gloves, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection and safety glasses in assigned areas and the appropriate safety procedures that apply. A technician is also responsible for the enforcement of safety rules to the helper.
Responsible for clean ups and daily clean up that is due by the end of the shift.
Ability to do all technician paperwork, key information into the computer system, and be responsible for all products run on the line.
Ability to understand the process and operation of the equipment.
Drive forklift as needed to move skids and/or supplies in a safe manner.

6+ month's assembly experience
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a climate-controlled production assembly environment working under normal production conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, caustic chemicals, and the risk of electric shock. It is therefore necessary to adhere to all established safety guidelines/procedures.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear; the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch; lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 50 pounds.
