Position Overview:
Micro assembly using manual die attach with conductive epoxy, wedge wire bonding and parallel gap welding techniques necessary in manufacturing high frequency RF products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare components for standard micro assembly.
* Perform rework and repair operations on electronic parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
* Follow established Quality Assurance Standards to inspect in process electrical, RF microwave or mechanical components/assemblies by microscope.
* Read and interpret assembly drawings.
* Train, explain procedures and techniques to other assemblers.
* Confer with supervisors, test technicians, engineers and quality to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems.

Job Description
Our Production Technology Technician will be reporting directly to the Supervisor of the Technology division. Working closely with a small team in a manufacturing environment, this candidate will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the computer's equipment for key staff members at various levels, in various departments, in the manufacturing area of the plant. Provide appropriate level of support to guarantee Operations continuity
Audit and monitor proper functionality of newly improved system terminals
Provide training about correct operation of system terminals
Work closely with Maintenance Technicians, Engineers and the IT department in troubleshooting. Collaborate with Operations.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required. 2 years of college degree or technical school (preferred)
Strong problem-solving skills.
Highly motivated, goal oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
CompTIA A+ and N+ Certification required or equivalent experience.

The Opportunity
We are looking for an Lead Electronic Assembly Technician - Contract to support the assembly, testing, and packaging of Voyant's FMCW LiDAR sensors. This hands-on, day-shift role is critical to delivering high-quality hardware as we move from prototype builds to pilot production. Candidates should also be flexible to support other shifts or weekends as needed.
You'll assemble sub-components, run tests, track inventory, and help develop and improve our assembly and test processes. You'll also train and support other team members to ensure every unit meets Voyant's quality standards.
Location: New York City
Contract Term: 6-8 months, full-time (40 hours/week)
Status: Contract role with potential for full-time conversion
Key Responsibilities
Perform sub-assembly and final assembly of LiDAR sensors, including PCB, flex, and mechanical integration.
Conduct electrical and functional testing to confirm sensor performance.
Package, label, and prepare finished units for shipment.
Support process development by identifying improvements to tools, fixtures, and work instructions.
Track build materials and inventory to maintain accurate records.
Train and assist other technicians and team members during builds.
Keep the assembly area organized, clean, and ESD-safe.
Report build progress, issues, and improvement ideas to the engineering and manufacturing teams.
Qualifications
Associate degree or hands-on technical training in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in electronic or electromechanical assembly and testing.
Skilled in high-precision electronics sub- and final assembly, using hand tools, gages, fixtures, and performing basic electrical testing and calibration
Comfortable reading assembly drawings, test procedures, and work instructions
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced lab environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience assembling or testing LiDAR, optical, or sensor systems.
Familiarity with inventory or build-tracking systems.
Prior experience training or mentoring other technicians.
Understanding of cleanroom or ESD-safe handling practices.

The Production Technician I is responsible for the aseptic manufacturing of Cresilon's products for the animal health industry. The Production Technician II will be trained in clean room operations, aseptic techniques, and must demonstrate the ability to successfully pass gowning qualifications. The position involves operating simple and complex processing equipment, routine sanitization of cleanroom facilities, and manual cleaning of equipment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of steady progress in a similar manufacturing environment and must possess a willingness to learn all equipment and jobs in the assigned manufacturing and sanitation of clean room facilities as required. Production Technicians are also responsible for the quality of products produced by ensuring compliance with local, State and Federal regulations, including current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Perform line clearance of assigned production areas as required.
Perform equipment set up and disassembly activities.
Operate production, assembly and testing equipment, including heat sealers, bar code scanners, weighing scales, tumblers, autoclaves, filling equipment, and packaging equipment.
Formulate, fill, and pouch product in accordance with SOPs.
Troubleshoot all operating deviations and issues and coordinate with other functions when required.
Report both machine and operating deviations to area supervisor or designee.

Requirements
