    This position is responsible for the unloading/reloading of cylinder tubes to/from vehicle securement areas. Tube preparation including blasting, sanding, thread repair, inspection, testing, and painting is part of this position function. Handling of the vehicle and tubes during task completion must be accomplished using safe and efficient techniques which prevent damage to parts or fellow workers. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION: Remove and reinstall cylinder tubes to vehicles using safe handling practices. Wheelabrate tubes prior to testing as directed. Test tubes to determine their acceptance or rejection to industry standards. Communicate with other workers to ensure smooth workflow. Replace tools to their designated locations. Work in other areas of the facility at the direction of the area supervisor efficiently and effectively while maintaining good teambuilding skills. Notifies the supervisor of all deviations as incurred. Follow safety and quality guidelines and company procedures while performing tasks, Including all work order sign-offs. At the direction of the supervisor and/or lead, disassemble and reassemble equipment. Interpret prints and/or technical drawings and apply the information to assigned work. Test tubes to determine their acceptance or rejection to industry standards. Maintain work area in good condition and exhibit good housekeeping habits. Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
