ASSEMBLER - CLEAN ROOM
Position is responsible for the accurate assembly of components as specified by customer work orders, engineering process routers, blueprints and any applicable code or specification, in a clean room environment.
Reports to: Team Leader - Clean Room
Personnel: Not applicable.
Accountabilities: Assemblers are responsible for producing conforming components that meet all blueprint dimensions within the said tolerances; any moving parts must operate correctly. Cleanliness and preservation of internal components must be maintained along with the final appearance of the component. All SOP's and WI's must be followed and a safe, clean and organized work area must be maintained.

Duties:
Perform pre-clean room wash operations and follow appropriate procedures for clean room entry with materials.
Perform complex assembly operations using a variety of tools and equipment within a clean room environment.
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished component.
Use torque wrenches and understands torque methods and sequencing.
Use precision measuring instruments.
Install thread inserts, keenserts and fasteners.
Operate and trouble shoot equipment used in assembly operations.
Perform material handling functions using material handling equipment within the clean room.
Enter correct data into data collection system (IDC) and ensure accurate labor reporting.
Understand and properly operate the “Available Documents” program.
Monitor and maintain proper cleanliness of equipment and work area on a daily basis.
Communicate with co-workers and supervisor to receive instructions and coordinate activities.
Job Qualification Requirements:
Educational Experience - A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of one year of trade school, vocational education or apprenticeship is preferred but not required.

ASSEMBLY TECHNICIANS needed at The Large Power Systems Division located in Lafayette, IN.
In this role you will assemble components and perform adjustments on both diesel and natural gas engines. You could also perform assembly work in sub-assembly areas directly associated with prime product engine assembly. In addition, assembly technicians prepare engines for testing, painting and shipping of prime product.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Assembly of large diesel and natural gas engines
Work includes the use of

Manipulating engine components during the assembly process.

Basic Qualifications: Applicant must meet ONE of the following criteria:
Two years of professional job-related experience in auto/diesel/farm experience- OR
Two years of construction, maintenance and repair- OR
2 months of experience through the Lafayette Large Engine facility staffing agency- OR
6 months Caterpillar Logistics Assembly experience- OR
Two years manufacturing experience- OR
Technical degree in diesel engine, automotive, electrical, electronics, or agricultural/construction equipment technology
Additional Basic Qualifications:
Strong electrical and mechanical background.
Ability and willingness to work overtime when needed.
Flexible, self-directed individual with a strong sense of teamwork and good communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
Candidates for all positions must have the ability to work in a fast pace, medium to heavy duty assembly, technical environment.

Job Summary:
Closet Factory is seeking a skilled Factory Team Member to join our growing team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Factory Team Member, you will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing and assembly of custom closets and home organization systems. Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
Assist in the manufacturing of custom closets and home organization systems according to design specifications.
Ability to read blue prints and measure accurately.
Table Saw experience highly preferred

Assemble cabinets, drawers, shelves, and other components.
Assist in cutting, sanding, and finishing materials.
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Maintain strict quality control on all of your work
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
