The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in sports promotion and publicity, gender and sport, sport and society, and ethical and international issues in sports. Other responsibilities include scholarship in sports communication, academic advising, and assisting with the graduate program in sports communication. Preference will be given to candidates with an appropriate terminal degree, college-level teaching experience, a promising record for research and/or creative production, and relevant professional experience. For a tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant professor, an appropriate terminal degree, college-level teaching experience and appropriate professional experience are required.
