Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Assistant Coordinator in Worcester.

    The Worcester Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) serves clients who are admitted due to struggle with a mental health crisis often additionally struggling with substance abuse. Our clients enter the program with an evaluation and client history completed by a qualified clinician prior to admission. The CSU may be used as a diversion to prevent a hospitalization or as a step-down immediately following a psychiatric hospital discharge to assist the client in transitioning back into the community. The unit receives admissions 24 hours/day, 365 days/year depending on bed availability (10 beds) for clients who do not need hospital level of care and meet the unit's admission criteria. Although a voluntary program, individuals must remain on the unit for the duration of their stay for safety and treatment purposes. Clients meet with a multi-disciplinary team to aid with following their individualized treatment plan and meet their treatment goals as well as a psychiatric workup and medication evaluation.

    1. Quality Management: Provide oversight of residential component. Act as Program Coordinator during his/her absence.

    2. Supervision and Training: Orient and train new staff, as designated, to daily operations of the program and Division procedures. Provide ongoing supervision to program staff.

    3. Census: Ensure accuracy and timeliness of resident calendar, admission and discharge forms, special billing, and/or Service Activity Logs.

    4. Program Management: Plan, Implement and continuously evaluate rehabilitative and support services through assessments, treatment planning to meet individualized needs, and development of a peer support group.
    5. Personnel: Act regarding disciplinary procedures.

    6. Facilities: Identify problem areas and coordinate work for upkeep of site. Insure day-to-day upkeep of residence and workplace. Work with residents and staff to maintain the residence daily including chores, bedroom upkeep, yard and other housekeeping duties.

    7. Liaison: Serve as a liaison among other departments and with other agencies in order to facilitate a continuum of care.

    8. Other Duties: Perform other related professional duties required in order to provide quality clinical programming. Transportation of residents may be required in personal car or program van.

    9. Respect diverse views and approaches, demonstrate Standards of Respect, and contribute to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.
