What We're Looking For:
Barge Design Solutions is currently seeking an AssociateProjectManager focused on civil site design projects within our Mission Critical Program Team. Position can be located in the Nashville, Knoxville, Memphis, Atlanta, or Gwinnett offices.
Responsibilities:
Working with Mission Critical Program leadership and under the direction of a ProjectManager (PM) to learn and implement proper PM procedures for this programmatic data center work.
Supports PM in providing technical leadership on civil-site data center projects including preparation of grading, drainage, site layout, utility, erosion control plans, permit documents.
Collaborates with stakeholders on proposals to determine time, cost, & processes for accomplishing projects deliverables.

Supports PM and team in managing construction administration activities to include including responses for Requests for Information, Submittals, Pricing Requests, Construction Change Directives, Consultant Supplemental Instructions,
Addendums, Bulletins, etc.
Supports contract issuance and invoicing efforts.
Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to project issues that arise.

Education & Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university.
Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience years preferred.
Experience with civil site design and permitting and applicable software applications including hydrology modeling programs/storm drainage programs is preferred.

Qualifications
Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field from an accredited curriculum.
Minimum of seven years of utility transmission line project experience with at least 3 years related projectmanagement experience.
Professional Engineering (PE) registration preferred.
ProjectManagement Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Must have ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government and public contracts on project-related matters.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
