The Development Project Manager will be based in Cameron, LA and oversee a variety of non-industrial construction projects, as well as oversee and manage other non-construction development projects. This position will report to the Vice President of Public Affairs and Development, and will be pivotal in the Company's continued growth. Responsibilities: Day-to-day support and oversight of Lighthouse Bend Work with Development Team members to develop and execute a comprehensive 3- and/or 5-year development plan for Cameron Parish (e.g. grocery store, residential housing, healthcare, etc.) Lead and manage non-industrial construction projects from inception to completion, including but not limited to planning, methodologies, permitting, schedules and budgets Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards and safety regulations throughout construction Oversee and coordinate the activities of all contractors and field personnel Identify potential issues and provide regular status updates Maintain strong relationships and work collaboratively with regulators and a variety of local stakeholders Manage all aspects of non-construction special projects Other duties as required and assigned Qualifications: Experience with direct non-industrial construction management Familiarity with SWLA, as well as knowledge and understanding of relevant ordinances, permitting processes and real estate/land Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Strong communication skills and attention to detail Discretion in dealing with confidential material and planning Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as other applications as needed for effective job performance High level of multi-tasking and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish Venture Global LNG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
