About Adams Animal Care Adams Animal Care has proudly served pets and their families for years. Our clinic combines a warm, small-town atmosphere with advanced veterinary tools and a strong commitment to personalized care. Our sister location is in Tecumseh, NE. Our facility includes: Dental suite with dental x-rays for comprehensive oral health care. Digital radiography for precise diagnostics. Anesthesia machines to ensure safe surgical procedures. In-house IDEXX lab machines for reliable and timely test results. Responsibilities As a Veterinary Technician, your duties will include: Assisting veterinarians during patient exams, treatments, and surgical procedures. Administering medications, vaccinations, and therapeutic treatments. Performing diagnostic tests, including radiographs and in-house lab work. Monitoring anesthesia and providing post-operative care. Conducting dental cleanings and assisting with dental procedures. Educating clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and post-care instructions. Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean, organized clinic environment. Qualifications Experience: Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician is preferred. Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) is a plus but not required. Experience with large animal is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train! Skills: Strong technical, diagnostic, and communication skills. Mindset: A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care. Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
