Primary Responsibilities: * Process surgical instruments in the decontamination area with precision and attention to safety. * Assemble and sterilize instrument trays in accordance with departmental protocols and procedural needs. * Operate sterilization and processing equipment including steam and hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, washers, heat sealers, and dumbwaiters. * Store, date, and rotate supplies to ensure readiness and compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations.
