Performs preventive maintenance, repairs to powered industrial equipment, and maintains repair records. Prioritizes and schedules repairs and maintenance to reduce or eliminate equipment down time. Works closely with the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to develop necessary preventative maintenance as needed. Continuously audits the preventative maintenance program of the entire fleet and adjusts or modifies as necessary to ensure reliability and extended life of the fleet. Requirements: Associate degree in Mechanized Agriculture, Automotive Repair, or similar field; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Five or more years related experience and training in automotive, forklift or similar equipment. Knowledge of Stick (ARC) and TIG welding. Good communication skills, ability to write, read, and speak English and occasionally lift, and or move, up to 50 lbs. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, work extended hours, weekends, and any shift assigned during the fresh pack season, typically July to early October. Compensation: The hourly wage is $26.45.
