Seeking a full time Commercial Tire Technician Locally owned and operated, Zolman Tire, Inc. has serviced the automotive, light truck and commercial repair, tire, and wheel needs of customers throughout the Mishawaka, IN area since 1978. We are seeking qualified commercial tire technicians for our Mishawaka Fleet locations who value safety and teamwork. Hours requirements are 7:45AM-5:00PM M-F, with willingness to work overtime as needed. For retreads: Prepare retreads (read and accurately interpret the work order, put product in staging area, load on truck), unload retreads (unload from truck and stack in warehouse area) For vehicles: Inspect vehicles using inspection forms and report potential repairs to supervisor, perform basic maintenance and repair as directed Equipment: Raise and lower vehicles safely, with hydraulic or floor jacks and proper use of jack stands Safely operate all shop machinery, including but not limited to: safety cage, spreader, balancer, floor jacks or lifts, air powered tools, torque wrench and/or torque sticks Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment Read work orders thoroughly and perform all listed tasks Perform general housekeeping duties Physical Demands: Frequently lift/carry/move 50-100 lbs.
